| The "General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" proposes to integrate mathematical culture into mathematics teaching,and the history of mathematics,as an indispensable part of mathematical culture,plays an important role in guiding students to understand the essence of mathematical concepts,clarifying the source flow of concepts,and establishing the connection between new and old concepts.In the whole high school mathematical concept,the related concepts in the teaching of functions are particularly important and are the basis for the entire high school mathematics learning.Therefore,this study takes the related concepts in the teaching of functions as an example,integrates the history of mathematics into the teaching of mathematical concepts in high schools,and establishes complete mathematical concepts with the help of mathematical history to deepen students’ understanding of the nature of concepts.In this study,the research results of HPM theory,mathematical concept teaching,and the integration of mathematical history into the teaching of high school functions and related concepts are comprehensively sorted out by using the literature research method,which provides a theoretical basis for subsequent research.Secondly,the questionnaire survey and interview survey were conducted for teachers and students to understand the current situation of the integration of mathematics history into mathematics teaching and the teaching of mathematical concepts in high schools.Then,based on HPM theory and APOS theory,the teaching design framework for integrating mathematical history into high school mathematical concepts is constructed,and the teaching of mathematical history into functions,exponential functions and logarithmic functions is designed with this framework.Finally,the experimental research method is used to select two classes of equivalent level in the practice school to implement comparative teaching,and the advantages of integrating mathematical history into the teaching of mathematical concepts are explained from the perspective of quality and quantity,respectively.Research shows that integrating the history of mathematics into the teaching of mathematical concepts in high schools can stimulate students’ interest and change students’ attitudes towards mathematical learning,while also helping students construct complete mathematical concepts and deepen students’ understanding of concepts.For teachers,they can improve their literacy through the study of the history of mathematics and provide a new teaching model for the teaching of mathematical concepts in teaching.In addition,the teaching design framework of high school mathematical concepts based on HPM theory and APOS theory can also improve the current situation of simplifying the teaching process of mathematical concepts in the past.Therefore,in the actual teaching of mathematical concepts,teachers should make good use of the history of mathematics according to the needs of teaching objectives and teaching content,and give full play to the educational value of mathematical history. |
