Mathematical computing ability is one of the most basic abilities in mathematics discipline.Mathematical computing ability is not only the basis for students to study mathematics and form other abilities,but also a kind of quality that students must have to develop further.It also helps to improve the quality of mathematics teaching and reduce the burden on Students.It is also an important part of the students' ability to develop students' mathematical thinking and innovation ability.At present,some scholars have studied the mathematical computing ability and discussed the evaluation method,but the theoretical library is not abundant.The author tries to understand the current situation of the mathematics computing ability of 9th grade students by investigation,and find the influencing factors.Finally,the author puts forward the strategy of improving the mathematics computing ability of 9th grade students.The first chapter introduces the background,problem and significance of the research.The second chapter summarizes the theories of mathematical computing ability,and defines the mathematical computing ability as:(1)the ability to use concepts,formulas and rules;(2)the ability to understand the meaning of computing and the arithmetic;(3)the ability to select a reasonable method of calculation;(4)the ability to simplify the operation;(5)the ability to estimate.The third chapter describes the research methods and design of the thesis,the research design part includes the research purpose,the research object,the preparation of test and grading standards and the questionnaires.In the fourth chapter,the results of the test and the questionnaire are analyzed.Based on the analysis of the data results,the author analyses the internal and external factors,and especially the influencing factors of the students and teachers.The fifth chapter puts forward the training strategies to improve the mathematics computing ability of 9th grade students:(1)pay attention to the teaching of basic knowledge and basic skills;(2)pay attention to the training of problem-solving strategies;(3)pay attention to the cultivation of non-intellectual factors.The sixth chapter is the conclusion and prospect of the study,and summarizes the research of this thesis.The investigation shows that the overall level of mathematics ability of junior middle school students needs to be improved,which is not related to schools,and has nothing to do with students' gender.Teachers should pay attention to cultivate students' mathematical ability.
