With the rapid development of internet technology,mobile learning represented by smartphones and tablet computers has become a development trend in today’s education field.Due to the relatively high autonomy of users in mobile situations,learners must conduct selfregulated learning(hereinafter referred to as SRL)to obtain the best learning effect.However,users are often in a blind state due to poor design of autonomous learning and untimely feedback,and most learners are unable to continuously participate in SRL,resulting in lowerthan-average learning outcomes and high dropout rates.In order to give full play to the advantages of mobile learning and avoid information trek in mobile situations,how to effectively guide users to SRL is particularly urgent and important.Based on the literature review,this study focuses on the SRL of users in mobile learning context,combines the affordance theory and peer support,and builds the mechanism model of gamified affordance.By selecting a mobile learning APP user as the research object,objective data of users’ use of the system from 2012 to 2022 are collected.This study mainly studies the effects of gamification affordance on user SRL from human-machine interaction perspectives(reward affordance and self-expression affordance)and human-human interaction perspectives(cooperation affordance and competition affordance),and the effects of user learning intention and peer support on the above relationships.In order to solve the above problems,through social network analysis and regression analysis,the main research conclusions are as follows:(1)By combining the affordance theory with the perspective of user interaction,the influence of gamified affordance function on user SRL is explored.The results showed that gamified affordance(reward affordance,self-expression affordance,cooperative affordance and competitive affordance)of human-machine interaction and human-human interaction can promote user SRL behavior,which indicates that to a certain extent,The setting of gamified affordance elements can improve the SRL behavior of users.(2)User learning intention positively affects user SRL,and mediates the relationship between gamification affordance and SRL.Strong user participation will lead to successful outcomes in terms of higher system usage,higher user acceptance,and higher user satisfaction.In particular,users with a high learning intention are more willing to continue to use the mobile learning platform,generate more SRL behaviors,recommend the platform to others,and make positive comments on the platform.(3)Peer support moderates the relationship between self-expression affordance and cooperative affordance,partially moderates the relationship between competition affordance and SRL,but does not moderate the relationship between reward affordance and SRL.Peer support has different effects on different gamified affordance in mobile learning.Although it can promote most gamified affordance,peer support,as an external factor,cannot replace individual learning behaviors of users,and the combined effects with different gamified affordance should be considered.
