Music quality assessment is a way to track and examine students’ music learning process,whereby teachers can provide stage by stage understanding and feedback on students’ mastery of basic music knowledge and skills.Through this form of assessment,students can demonstrate their musical ability and potential,optimize the school’s nurturing space,and thus promote the high-quality development of music education.In recent years,although most elementary schools across the country have made new innovations in music quality assessment,there are still a large number of schools that are still deficient in various aspects of music quality assessment.After the implementation of the "double reduction" policy,the state has put more emphasis on the requirement of "reducing the burden and increasing the quality" of primary and secondary education,but the degree of implementation of this policy varies among elementary school in Quanzhou.In this paper,we investigate three representative elementary school in Quanzhou City(two public schools and one private school),and investigate the current situation of music quality assessment through literature research,action research and interview method,and analyze their programs and processes.The purpose of this study is to provide relevant reference values and implementation ideas for the better development of music quality assessment in lower elementary schools in Quanzhou.
