| Mathematics education in the 21 st century focuses on cultivating students’ core literacy of mathematics,and the learning process of mathematics propositions can just reflect this idea.M Mathematics proposition is one of the important contents of junior middle school mathematics,which has attracted the attention and concern of educators.Mathematics propositions reveal some relationship between mathematical concepts,which is the core of mathematics proposition learning and the further learning after learning mathematical concepts.Therefore,it is worth thinking for educators and researchers to study how to cultivate students’ core literacy through mathematics proposition teaching.In this study,the mathematics propositions contain mathematical theorems,mathematical axioms,mathematical formulas,mathematical rules and so on.The research mainly focuses on how to conduct mathematics proposition teaching under the background of core literacy.In order to solve this major problem more comprehensively,we first understand the actual situation of mathematics proposition teaching in junior middle school through questionnaire survey and classroom observation,and find that:(1)Mathematics core literacy has not been fully implemented in mathematics proposition teaching;(2)Introduction of proposition has not received enough attention in the course of proposition teaching;(3)"One proposition with multiple proofs" has not received enough attention;(4)There are few teachers to help students construct propositional network diagram.Secondly,based on the results of the survey and combined with the core literacy,the teaching strategy is put forward: first,reasonable introduction and guide students to abstract mathematical propositions;Second,multiple arguments help students understand mathematical propositions;Thirdly,the combination of number and shape improves students’ geometric intuition.Fourth,apply what you learn to enhance students’ ability to apply propositions;Fifth,build model to strengthen students’ model concept;Sixth,variable teaching helps students grasp the essence of proposition;Seventh,use the "relational graph" to help students form a propositional network.Finally,the teaching design of Exploring the Pythagorean Theorem(1)is studied,and the teaching design is applied to practical teaching.After practice,the students of the two classes were tested for teaching effect,and the test results were statistically analyzed with Excel and SPSS26.0.The research finds that the teaching design under the core literacy gives students a full sense of classroom participation,and the mathematics activities are progressive,which better cultivates students’ mathematics literacy such as reasoning ability,geometric intuition and mathematical modeling,and helps students grasp the essence of the proposition.This is reflected in the test results of students in the experimental class are higher than those in the control class,especially in the comprehensive application questions. |
