With the advancement of the new curriculum reform and the needs of teachers’ own professional development,the teaching form of open class has received much attention from educators.As a form of teaching seminar,open class is one of the main means to update the concept of physical education,explore the laws of physical education,and promote the reform of physical education curriculum.quality and the only way to promote their professional growth.At present,with the implementation of the new curriculum standards for middle school physical education,the concept of physical education and the teaching methods of physical education are constantly innovating,and various types of open physical education classes are emerging one after another.However,while secondary school PE open classes are continuously being conducted,they are also revealing various problems,and some educators are beginning to question the necessity of offering PE open classes,while their calls for PE open classes to "return to the truth" are becoming stronger and stronger.This research adopts the method of literature,questionnaire survey,interview,observation and mathematical statistics.Finally,the questionnaires of 88 PE teachers and 355 students from 24 middle schools in Guiyang were selected for analysis,and according to the actual survey results,There are several problems in the process of developing public physical education classes in middle schools in Guiyang: teachers’ time for preparing lessons is not reasonable,teachers’ collective awareness of preparing lessons is not strong,teachers’ understanding of students is not comprehensive enough,teachers’ initiative in participating in public classes is not high,teachers’ teaching process lacks authenticity,students’ dominant position is neglected in class,teachers’ awareness of teaching reflection is weak,the proportion of public class evaluators is uneven,public class evaluation is not rigorous,public class evaluation methods are single,public class development time is unreasonable,and the organization mode of public classes is formalized.Through sorting and analyzing,the factors influencing the development of secondary school PE open class in Guiyang city are mainly four aspects,such as institutional policy,thinking awareness,professional skills,and curriculum management.Finally,the author proposes the following corresponding solution strategies for these problems and factors: the education department should improve the training system of secondary school physical education teachers,standardize the organization form of physical education open class,improve the incentive system of physical education open class,and optimize the evaluation system of physical education open class;schools should improve the preparation system of physical education open class,increase the cultivation of young teachers,pay attention to the training of teachers’ teaching evaluation theory;strengthen the Teachers should accurately understand the value of PE open class,strengthen their professional knowledge and skills,pay attention to the subjectivity of students’ learning in class,and strengthen the post-class reflection of PE open class.In this paper,the research on the practice of public class of middle school physical education in Guiyang can not only improve the teaching efficiency of middle school physical education classroom,promote the growth of students and teachers,but also promote the better construction of physical education discipline.
