In recent years,with the development of socialization of education,community education has gradually entered the public’s vision.Pedagogy,public management and other disciplines have studied community education from their own perspectives,and social work has gradually begun to pay attention to community education.Therefore,it is very necessary to think about how to play the role of social work in community education.As a large and important group,it is of great significance to use community education to promote their integration and development and to meet the educational needs of children in relocated communities.Therefore,this study takes the povertyalleviation relocation of W community in Y City of Guizhou Province as the investigation site,takes the children in W community as an example,applies the professional methods of social work to community education,and under the guidance of hierarchy of needs theory and social learning theory,uses participatory observation method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to understand the basic situation and educational needs of children in W community.results of the survey that children’s needs for community education is manifested in three main areas: learning,community integration and peer communication.According to the practical needs of children in W community and combined with the professional knowledge of social work learned,the author carries out community education activities,which mainly start from three aspects: curriculum guidance for children,community integration and peer communication.Use a combination of group and community work methods.Finally,by interviewing parents and children,filling in satisfaction questionnaires and taking into account the group members’ performance and changes during the activities,the authors evaluate the effectiveness of the social work intervention.After that,the author summarized and reflected on the entire community education activities,summed up some problems of social work intervention in community education for children in relocation communities for easy poverty alleviation,and put forward relevant suggestions.In order to hope to accumulate some practical experience for the future social work is involved in children’s community education.
