As participants in the relocation project of poverty alleviation in inhospitable areas,children of school age are prone to school adaptation problems as they are facing the restructuring of ecological environment and social environment.How well the children adapt to the school not only affects the healthy growth and all-round development of the individual,but also affects the implementation of the talent training of the resettlement school,and the overall effect of the relocation project.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out research on the adaptability of schools of migrant children in poverty-alleviation areas,analyze the adaptation status of migrant children’s schools and solve existing problems,which is of great significance to shorten the adaptation process of migrant children’s schools,improve their adaptability to schools and promote their personal development.Social ecosystem theory is a theory that studies the interaction mechanism between individuals and their environment.It maintains that people are people in the environment,and the development process of individuals is the process of building their social ecosystem environment.This paper intends to use the five environmental systems of social ecosystem theory as the analytical framework for school adaptability of children of migrant workers,and analyze the causes and construct strategies for poor school adaptability of children of migrant workers in poverty-stricken areas.Based on this,this paper takes L Middle School,a poverty alleviation resettlement school in Liupanshui City,Guizhou Province,as the research object.Through literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interview and other research methods,based on the analysis of existing research results and practical experience,social ecosystem theory is taken as the research perspective.This paper consists of six parts.The first part explains the reason for the topic selection,the background and significance of the research,the basic content,methods and concepts of the research,etc.The second part is the relevance analysis of the social ecosystem theory and the adaptability of the school of migrant children.The third part mainly presents the current situation of school adaptation of the migrant children in L middle school.It is found that on the whole,the migrant children adapt well to school and integrate their emotions positively.The fourth part is based on the school adaptation status of migrant children in poverty-alleviation areas in L middle school.It analyzes that some migrant children still have practical problems in five aspects:interpersonal communication,emotional adaptation,learning adaptation,behavioral norms and psychological belonging.The fifth part,based on the guidance of the social ecosystem theory,makes it clear that the reasons for the school adaptation problems of migrant children lie in their inadequate personal adaptation ability.The quality of family education for the children of migrant workers is low;Limited cultural construction in resettlement communities;Relocation follow-up security policy is not perfect;Their children’s learning process appears "broken chain".The sixth part is under the guidance of the social ecosystem theory,from the micro system to the time system five aspects of the improvement path.In order to improve the adaptability of schools,we should focus on the children of migrant workers and highlight the regulating role of parents and teachers.Focus on family education,promote home-school interaction and peer communication,shorten the school adaptation process;Take school education as the main body,give full play to the auxiliary function of the community,and balance the school to meet the needs;Based on policies and systems,it links with the government and social support forces to lead the school to adapt to the path;To accept tolerance as the principle,do a good job before and after the relocation of transition and cohesion.
