In the new round of curriculum reform and strengthening the improvement of school physical education,modern physical education pays more attention to cultivating social construction-oriented talents with strong creativity and practical ability,so teachers need to choose teaching methods that are suitable for students according to the syllabus.The traditional acceptance teaching method is single,the knowledge standard is serious,and the students passively accept knowledge,which hinders the development of students personality and the motive force of active learning,and is not conducive to the cultivation of students’ creativity and cooperative spirit.Therefore,it is necessary to explore new teaching methods,enrich vivid teaching content,and combine theory with practice,so as to cultivate students interest in basketball and promote the development of basketball education.In This paper,literature,questionnaires,teaching experiments,mathematical statistics and other research methods are used to study the application of the five-step teaching method in the general basketball course in Colleges and universities based on the background of "learning,training and competition".and verifies the effect of improving students academic performance,cooperative learning ability and interest in learning before and after the implementation of this teaching method.Randomly selected subjects for the experiment,the results are as follows:(1)In terms of academic performance,there is a significant difference between the control group and the experimental group in the performance of passing and catching the ball to reach the standard.There is no difference in the performance of moving technology,one-minute shooting and dribbling to and fro to reach the standard.The performance of technical evaluation shows a very significant difference.(2)In terms of cooperative learning ability,the experimental group and the control group have extremely significant differences in all indicators.(3)In terms of interest in basketball learning,the experimental group and the control group have extremely significant differences in all indicators.After the teaching experiment,the conclusion is drawn:(1)Both the traditional receptive teaching and the five-step teaching method based on the background of "learning,training and competition" conform to the law of basketball teaching and can improve students’ learning performance,but the five-step teaching method based on the background of "learning,training and competition" can improve students’ learning performance more effectively than the traditional receptive teaching.It has a good effect on improving students’ technical and tactical level.(2)The five-step teaching method based on the background of "learning,practicing and competition" fully embodies the student-centered educational idea.Through cooperative inquiry,classroom presentation and evaluation feedback,it can effectively improve students’ cooperative learning ability,enhance students’ self-confidence and sense of achievement,further stimulate students’ participation,and strengthen students’ knowledge mastery.(3)The five-step teaching method based on the background of "learning,practice and competition" is applied to basketball teaching,which improves students interest in learning basketball,stimulates students’ learning motivation,changes from passive learning in the past to active learning in the present,can better activate the classroom atmosphere,and promotes the development of students’ non-intellectual factors. |
