Research On The Construction Of Social Support Network For The "Three Nots" Elderly

With the accelerated aging degree process obviously,our country is about to enter the deep aging society,which also brought severe test for our retirement challenge.Under the current social welfare and pension system,as a special elderly group,laws and regulations issued by the state in the face of the "three nots" elderly guarantee and protect their basic material life to a certain extent.But most of the "three nots" old people are facing a more severe pension dilemma.Compared with the elderly in rural areas,the situation of the "three nots" living in cities and towns is more difficult.They live in well-developed cities and towns,but they live as marginalized groups in the towns and cities.They are alone and helpless,lacking the ability to help themselves and living in poor conditions.As a result of the changes in the forms of support,the "three nots" elderly face difficulties in survival,spiritual and social integration,and they have limited social support networks to rely on themselves.Therefore,the construction of social support network for the "three nots" elderly in the city is an effective measure to solve their survival and development problems,and also a topic paid attention to by academic research.Based on the social work project of "Three Nots" for the elderly in Y Street,this paper takes the social support network theory and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory as the theoretical basis of the research,and adopts qualitative research methods.The social support network status quo of the "three Nots" elderly was analyzed from the social level,community level,peer level,neighborhood level and relative level of the research object by observation method and interview method,and the social support network problems were analyzed.The intervention goals and plans were designed according to the logic of social work intervention,and the social work action was implemented.According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,"Three nots" elderly physiological and safety needs to pay attention to life care and medical health;The need to belong and love,focus on emotional care and community participation;The need for respect,attention to cognitive change and social interaction needs.At the individual level,individual services are provided by focusing on self-efficacy and cognitive support.At the level of relatives,relatives visit,guide guardians to give cognitive support,strengthen emotional support and behavioral support;At the peer and neighbourhood level,neighbourhood support groups are set up to carry out neighbourhood and peer activities to promote neighbourhood and peer interaction and communication;At the community level,mining community resources and building social support network platform;At the social level,policy explanation and publicity activities should be carried out,social organizations should be linked,social support should be promoted,and a perfect social support network for the "three nots" elderly should be built.It is necessary and feasible to build the "three nots" social support network on the basis of action research method and give full play to the professional advantages of social work.According to the research on the construction of social support network,starting from the two aspects of formal social support subjects and informal support subjects respectively,this paper proposes suggestions on the effective construction of social support network for the elderly with "three nots" in terms of their emotions,emotions and social participation service support,so as to give full play to the strength of each support subject and jointly promote the improvement of the quality of life of the elderly with "three Nots" in their later years.
