Secondary vocational education is a vocational education carried out at the stage of high school education, including general secondary professional schools, vocational high schools, technical schools and so on.Aiming at junior high school graduates or those with junior high school equivalence, its orientation is to cultivate a large number of skilled personnel and high-quality workers. In recent years, with the comprehensive transformation and upgrading of China’s economic structure and the construction of modern vocational education system, secondary vocational education is ushering in a new windfall. However,at the same time, secondary vocational students are faced with multiple dilemmas such as social stereotypes, employment discrimination prejudice and irregular school management, they are naturally branded as "uneducated" and "low-income".Due to the lack of discourse power and display platform, the stories of secondary vocational students are mostly constructed by the mainstream society. But what are their true appearances? What exactly are their inner desires? Therefore, this graduation design focuses on the group of secondary vocational youths, including secondary vocational students and graduates.Using in-depth interview mothed,it will focus on three levels:"why do you study in secondary vocational school, what do you do there and what will you do after graduation",and pay attention to their survival status, mental health, career choices and other practical issues. We hope to present a more realistic, comprehensive and three-dimensional portrait of secondary vocational students, bridge the gap between social cognitive differences and call for humanistic care for them.At the same time, through analyzing the growth experiences and real-life dilemmas of secondary vocational youths, this report is very willing to make suggestions for the future development of secondary vocational education.
