A Comparative Study Of Wu Yunrui’s And Yuan Dunli’s Sports Thoughts

Wu Yunrui is a famous sportsman in modern China.His research on sports theory involves philosophy,physiology,anatomy,biomechanics,and other fields,making important contributions to the development of China’s sports industry.Yuan Dunli was an outstanding educator and sports worker in modern China,and one of the founders of sports theoretical research.In his sports education and practice activities,Yuan Dunli quickly followed the trend of advanced sports culture in the world,closely adhered to the national conditions of China at that time,devoted himself to studying education,sports theory and practice,and promoted the rapid development of modern sports in China.Wu Yunrui and Mr.Yuan Dunli lived in the same period,and they had many interactive contacts.Both of them studied the advanced sports ideas of the time with the master of sports theory Williams at Columbia University.After returning to China,Wu Yunrui returned to the National Central University to work and teach,while Mr.Yuan Dunli returned to Peiping Normal University to teach.Therefore,the two of them are known as "South Central University,North Normal University".Wu Yunrui and Yuan Dunli are both similar and different in terms of sports thoughts,which complement each other and are precious in the history of Chinese sports thoughts.A comparative study of the sports thoughts of two sports experts can help supplement and improve the core connotation and contemporary value of their sports thoughts,and provide important reference for the current reform and development of school sports in China.This paper takes the related works of Wu Yunrui and Yuan Dunli and the sports thoughts contained in their practical activities as the research object,and uses the research methods of literature,text analysis,historical analysis,and comparative analysis to summarize the sports thoughts of Wu Yunrui and Yuan Dunli.On the basis of summarizing the specific contents of their sports thoughts,this paper compares and analyzes the similarities and differences of their sports thoughts,explore the similarities and differences of their sports thoughts and the reasons for their formation,and reflection on the Historical Value of the Comparative Study of Wu Yunrui and Yuan Dunli’s Physical Education Thoughts and Its Realistic Enlightenment on the Practice of School Physical
