This paper is based on the literature research and the comparative research method, which aims to introduce the specific viewpoints of Xu Qian's education thought, explores the causes,summarize the characteristics and expound the enlightenment thought of his education thought of Chinese language education today.Xu Qian was a famous educationist and Neo-Confucianism in the Yuan dynasty. He engaged in education for nearly 40 years, and accumulated rich experience in education, teaching results significantly, which has greatly promoted Neo-Confucianism everbright. In the long-term practice of education, Xu Qian on "learning to become a sage" as the educational goal, with the "Five Ethics" , "Five Tsunatsune" , "Four Books" and "Five Classics" as the main content of education,undertaking to the students moral education and intellectual education, to cultivate practical talents of morality and wisdom.On the one hand, Xu Qian stressed that students should be determined, adhere to the study,cherish the time and other learning attitude, master broad and fine combination, learning and thinking,combined with knowledge and practice combined and other learning methods. On the other hand, he also attached great importance to the role of teachers teaching and educating people,emphasized both moral and intellectual standards, thought that teachers should be kind and rigorous in teaching, follow the teaching principle of individualized, gradual and realistic,use the teaching method of talking and discussion to improve the efficiency of instruction. Xu Qian's education thought relates to the education target, function, content, method, teacher and teaching view of education. And these also contributed to his education thought appear the characteristics of combining the theory of Zhu Xi and lu Jiu yuan, paying attention to practical and inheriting the traditional Confucian culture through education, especially the characteristics of Neo-Confucianism.Xu Qian's educational thought on the current Chinese language education teaching has an important inspiration and reference value, namely, the Chinese teachers should correctly treat Chinese characteristics of "tools" and "humanism". In the present, the Chinese teacher should not only teach the students the specific Chinese knowledge, the learning method, but also should pay attention to the Chinese of "humanism" to promote the improvement of students' morality, and realize the hannonious development of students' morality and intelligence. In addition, the Chinese teachers should pay attention to inheriting the traditional culture, based on the present construction and absorbing the essence of foreign culture to promote the continuous development of traditional culture, and using philosophy as well as other knowledge to build their own educational goals and improve their professional qualities continuously from many aspects, such as the aspects of morality, knowledge and teaching skills, etc.The main contents of this thesis are as follows: the introduction part introduces the reasons and significance of the topic, the research status at home and abroad, the concept definition, and the research ideas and methods. The first chapter describes the basic information of Xu Qian,including his life, school and works; the second chapter expounds the goal, function of Xu Qian's education and their enlightenment to the current Chinese language education; the third chapter elaborates the contents, learning attitudes and methods of Xu Qian's education and their inspiration to the current Chinese language education; the fourth chapter describes Xu Qian's views of teacher and teaching, summarizes the characteristics of Xu Qian's educational thought and his enlightenment to the current Chinese language education. The appendix supplements some biographical information about Xu Qian, section of the education and teaching chapters of him and the introduction of some of his famous students.
