Innovative development is the source of power,is the soul of life,contemporary vocational education needs to constantly train innovative talents,leading the development of the industry.Secondary tourism vocational education,as an important part of vocational education,shoulders the important task of cultivating high-quality innovative tourism talents.In the post-epidemic context,the tour guide industry will face innovative transformation and upgrading.The course of Tour Guide Service in secondary vocational schools should lay more emphasis on cultivating learners’ innovative thinking ability.The application of SCS maker teaching method can enhance learners’ interest in learning,innovate learners’ thinking ability,cultivate their comprehensive ability for future vocational post requirements,and inject new impetus into the talent training of secondary vocational schools.Practice has proved that SCS maker teaching method is an effective way to cultivate innovative talents.The object of this study is the tourism major students in Grade two of Hangzhou XY Secondary Vocational School.Literature research method,questionnaire method and action research method are adopted to investigate the current teaching status of Tour Guide Service in secondary vocational school,and the teaching model of SCS Maker teaching method is constructed according to the learners’ innovative thinking ability and related teaching concepts.In the course of Tour Guide Service,three teaching modules and a specific teaching design case are designed.By means of questionnaire,classroom observation,innovation ability evaluation form,and tour guide final evaluation form,the teaching effect is tested,teaching reflection is carried out,and countermeasures and suggestions are put forward,so as to further improve the teaching model of SCS Maker teaching method and provide reference for the teaching practice of other similar courses.Research shows that SCS maker teaching method can expand learners’ innovative thinking,enhance learners’ interest in learning,make learners learn exciting,interesting and useful,and help teachers change teaching concepts,improve teaching skills and improve teaching quality.This is the innovation of this study.Of course,as this study is only based on a case study of the teaching practice of Tour Guide Service in XY Secondary Vocational School in Hangzhou,there may still be many shortcomings due to the limitations of the research conditions and the author himself,which will be discussed and improved in future teaching practice.
