With the rapid development of China’s economy and post-epidemic tourism industry,China is in urgent need of high-quality tourism professionals,Responsible for high-level skilled personnel training in tourism professionals.However,there are still a lot of problems to be solved in the course of the teaching of tourism specialty in the middle vocational schools,such as: Single class teaching style;Middle Vocational School Tourism Majors have low learning autonomy and initiative.Interactive teaching is a kind of effective interactive teaching method,which is mainly based on the interaction between the teacher and the student,and through the teaching of class,the students’ interest in study and their participation in class are aroused.In this paper,we apply ARCS(Attention,Relevance,Confidence and Satisfaction)Interactive Teaching in Secondary Vocational Schools,and it is bold to try a new method of teaching that differs from the traditional classroom teaching model,the purpose of this paper is to provide a new way of teaching for middle vocational schools,and to improve the quality and effectiveness of the classroom teaching in middle vocational schools.Along with the fast development of Chinese economy and the development of tourism in the post-epidemic period,China is in urgent need of high-quality tourism professionals,and Secondary vocational schools are responsible for training high-level skilled tourism professionals for the country and the society.However,there are still a lot of problems to be solved in the course of teaching of tourism specialty course,such as: single-class teaching style;Secondary vocational school’s tourism majors have low learning autonomy and enthusiasm.Interactive teaching is an effective way to interact with each other.Based on teacher-student interaction,it can arouse students’ interest in study and participation in class through classroom teaching.In this research,ARCS(Attention,Relevance,Confidence and Satisfaction)is used in the teaching of tourism class,and boldly tries a new teaching method different from the traditional classroom teaching mode.The purpose of this paper is to provide a new way of teaching for middle vocational schools,and to improve the teaching quality and effectiveness of middle vocational schools.This study consists of the following: Firstly,by means of document study,the domestic and foreign literature related to ARCS motivation model and interactive teaching method are searched and summarized,and a literature review is formed,which provides a theoretical basis for the following studies.Secondly,through questionnaire survey and interview survey,collect and sort out the data,analyze the current study situation of students majoring in tourism in secondary vocational schools,and analyze the feasibility of applying interactive teaching method based on ARCS motivation model in secondary vocational tourism classroom.Thirdly,design the interactive teaching design process based on ARCS motivation model,take the course of Tourism Culture as an example to design interactive teaching cases,and apply the teaching cases to the classroom teaching of tourism major in secondary vocational schools through comparative experiments.Fourthly,after the experiment,through the data analysis of the questionnaire survey of pre and post-test learning motivation and the post-test results of the experimental class and the control class,the application effect of interactive teaching method based on ARCS motivation model in secondary vocational tourism classroom is tested,and the whole research process is reflected and summarized according to the experimental results.After a three-month study,it is found that the interactive teaching method based on ARCS motivation model has achieved good teaching results in secondary vocational tourism classroom teaching,and the following experimental conclusions are drawn: First,the interactive teaching method based on ARCS motivation model can improve the academic performance of secondary vocational tourism students.Secondly,the interactive teaching method based on ARCS motivation model can improve the learning interest and enthusiasm of tourism students in secondary vocational schools.At the same time,while summarizing the research results,the author also points out some shortcomings in the research and puts forward some suggestions,hoping that further research can be done in the future to provide reference for the application of interactive teaching method in tourism classroom in secondary vocational schools.
