Education in the new century emphasizes comprehensively deepening curriculum reform, implementing the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people, clearly put forward the concept of "Core competencies",so that students can observe the real world with mathematical vision, think about the real world from the perspective of mathematics, and express the real world in mathematical language, helping students gradually form and develop correct thinking capacity and key ability through mathematics teaching and mathematical activities. Therefore, mathematics teaching needs to innovate talent cultivation methods, implement heuristic,inquiry-based,participatory,cooperative and other teaching methods, adopting a more scientific class organization model to provide strong support for cultivating all-round socialist builders and successors.Under the leadership of curriculum expert Principal Pan Chunbo,Wenzhou Ouhai Foreign Languages School puts forward the curriculum design concept of "Discovering Curriculum",which is an original course based on the Johari Window, taking into account the characteristics of the learning style, basing on the student-oriented,attaching importance to students’ independent discovery and exploration in the learning process, and at the same time explaining the various modes of teacher-student and student-student communication in the Johari Window to promote effective communication. This concept of "Discovering Curriculum" coincides with the educational goal pursued by project-based learning, and the elaboration of the four communication windows of "Open area","Private area","Blind area" and "Potential area" in Johari Window provides an effective venue for project-based learning. As a hot educational research direction, there is no recognized and efficient model to fit, this research is based on the concept of school-based curriculum, combined with teaching practice,to provide ideas and experience for the development of mathematical project design.Through the structural analysis of project-based learning and "Discovering Curriculum",this study effectively combines them to form a design framework of projectbased mathematics, constructs the corresponding implementation path based on the four windows in the Johari Window, and sets the corresponding evaluation mechanism according to the characteristics of each window,so as to realize the solution of driving problems in project-based learning and the improvement of students’ core competencies in learning.Based on the above design, this study focuses on two real, combined with the corresponding evaluation data, and analyzing the effect of case implementation,to show the advantages of the concept of "Discovering Curriculum" in the cultivation of students’ learning abilities and core competencies.Based on theoretical research and practical achievements, this article plans the teaching strategy of project-based learning in junior high school mathematics based on the concept of "Discovering Curriculum".It proposes four implementation strategies: deep exploration of knowledge structure,student-centered exploration, following the requirements of four window implementation, and flexible handling of four window logic. It summarizes the advantages of the concept of "Discovering Curriculum" in project-based design of junior high school mathematics,This provides effective theoretical and practical experience for the implementation of project-based learning in mathematics teaching.
