In 2010,project-based learning is being in the framework of high schools in Gansu Province.By comparing all related courses in most high schools in Lanzhou,we find these courses mostly are in vain and there exists difficulties in managing and implementing the courses.This phenomenon can be called as 'Rice cannot be cooked without a good housewife'.This study,taking S middle school as an example,aims to explore the management mechanism and implementation scheme of the project-based learning curriculum in general senior high school,and to provide reference for the implementation of research oriented learning curriculum.Through the literature method to clarify fundamental theory and development system of project-based curriculum,through survey research method to analyze the feasibility of the implementation of the project-based curriculum in S middle school,through the action research method,promoting the ordered management and effective implementation of the project-based curriculum in the S middle school,we make reflection on the gains and losses in the curriculum.By some investigation,we find that students,teachers and parents,on the one hand,have strong desire on establishing the 'Project-based Curriculum',on the other hand,are much worried about the effect of these courses on 'College Entrance Examination'.Thus,in the design of the courses,our purposes are giving a new experience differed from 'Accepting Knowledge' to students,improving abilities of teachers simultaneously,focusing on curriculum construction while improving school culture construction.Themes are 'Nature and ','Society and I','Self and I' and courses are arranged in the second semester of grade one and the first semester of grade two.The courses are organized as a way that all students and teachers are enrolled in,double-choice and team work.For management of these courses,school department may fully concentrate on a three year plan,set up effective course framework,make president,specific management staff,senior staff,core teachers and assistant teachers play the important part of it.In the implementation of these courses,focus on themes research,plus project design,carry out as five periods which are selecting themes,giving proposals,doing research,gaining results and presentation.The judge consist of management group,theme group and assistant teachers.And the evaluation are based on quality and results.Furthermore,the construction of discovery committee member,parent members,information techniques and safety guarantee will be along with the project-based learning curriculum.
