Volleyball is one of the "three major balls" in China and has an important role in the physical education classroom.Volleyball has been included as a test item in the Chinese physical education examination,and volleyball is gradually gaining the attention of schools,parents and students.With the development of the new physical education curriculum standards,there is a great deal of interest in exploring ways to increase students’ interest in physical education and thus improve the effectiveness of learning sports.In this paper,the main purpose of applying fun classroom practice to the middle school volleyball classroom in Tangshan City is to investigate whether fun classroom practice has a positive impact on cultivating students’ interest in physical education learning,motor skills and physical fitness of volleyball.This study used literature method,expert interview method,questionnaire method,teaching experiment method,mathematical and statistical method and other research methods.The seventh grade students of Caofeidian Experimental Middle School in Tangshan City were selected as the experimental subjects in the form of a teaching experiment with an experimental period of 12 weeks,and the three indicators of interest in physical education learning,physical quality and volleyball level skills were analyzed.The results obtained are as follows.1.After the experiment,the volleyball skill scores of the experimental class were better than those of the control class,and there were significant differences between frontal two-handed passing and frontal two-handed matting.2.There were differences in the scores of students in the experimental class before and after the experiment,except for the index of seated forward bend,which did not change(P < 0.05).The students in the control class before and after the experiment improved in the 50-meter run,women’s 800-meter run and men’s 1000-meter run scores,and the rest of the index scores did not have significant differences.3.The scores of 50 m,women’s 800 m,one-minute pull-up and standing long jump in both classes after the experiment were highly significant(P < 0.01).The differences of the remaining index scores were not significant.4.The two classes differed in all dimensions after the experiment,except for the dimension of physical education concern,which did not differ significantly.This leads to the conclusion of the study that.1.Compared with the traditional physical education teaching method,the effect of50 meters,800 meters for women,and one minute pull ups for students in the experimental class is more obvious.2.The addition of fun classroom practice to junior high school volleyball teaching had a significant increase in all six dimensions of interest in physical education,while the traditional teaching method had an increase in all six dimensions but did not have a significant difference.Compared with traditional teaching methods,adding fun classroom practice to junior high school volleyball teaching can better increase students’ positive interest in participating in sports and reduce their negative interest,which can effectively promote and enhance the understanding of sports,concern for sports,independent and inquiry sports and participation in sports.3.Both fun class practice and traditional teaching methods are effective in improving students’ volleyball skills,and fun class practice is more effective in promoting students’ volleyball skills than traditional teaching methods.
