With the continuous development of China's comprehensive strength,the quality of life of the people has also been better guaranteed,but relevant studies have shown that the physical quality of the whole people has shown a downward trend,and the decline in the physical quality of primary school students is the most obvious.The main contradiction appears in the unbalanced development between the quality of life and physical quality.The traditional physical education curriculum content makes the students'interest in physical education decline,there is a problem that they like physical education but do not like physical education,and there is a serious lack of students'interest in physical education.Interest is the best teacher,physical learning interest is the reinforcement of students' active participation in physical exercise,and the most significant change after physical exercise is the change of physical fitness.This paper takes the cheerleading course as a bridge to explore the corresponding relationship between fifth-grade students'interest in physical education and physical quality,so as to provide a certain reference basis for improving students'interest in physical education and physical quality.In this paper,the content analysis method,experimental method,questionnaire method,logical analysis method and mathematical statistics method are used to study the physical learning interest and physical quality of the fifth grade students.After the cheerleading project participated by the fifth grade students of Jingkai Middle School affiliated to Renmin University of China,the correlation between the change of students'interest in physical education and the change of physical quality was studied.The questionnaire of "Evaluation Scale of Primary School Students'Interest in Physical Education" by Wang Xiaozan was used as a scale to measure the changes of students'interest in physical education before and after the experiment.Taking the "Evaluation Standard of Physical Health Test for Grade 5 Students" as the basis for measuring the changes of students' physical fitness before and after the experiment,finally,the results of pre-and post-test data were analyzed by SPSS 20.0 software paired sample T test.As well as the Pearson correlation analysis between the improvement of interest in sports learning and the change of physical fitness,the results are as follows:1.Cheerleading has the most obvious influence on the flexible quality and sensitive quality of the fifth grade students,and the degree of students'sports participation is also on the rise.2.The greater the improvement value of sports learning interest,the greater the improvement value of physical quality,the more the improvement of sports learning interest,the greater the progress of physical quality.3.There are gender differences in the improvement of physical quality by cheerleading,and there is little gender difference in the improvement of speed quality.Sensitive quality,strength quality and flexibility quality are more significant for boys,especially in endurance quality.The improvement value of 50m*8 project of girls was higher than that of boys,and the increase of vital capacity of boys was higher than that of girls.4.Cheerleading has gender differences in the improvement of different dimensions of sports learning interest,and the degree of negative participation is the highest,followed by sports participation,active participation and attention to sports.At the same time,the sports learning interest of girls is higher than that of boys in different dimensions,and the intervention of cheerleading has a more significant impact on girls' interest in sports learning.5.There are differences in the scores of physical fitness and interest in physical education between boys and girls in cheerleading intervention.The scores of interest in physical education and physical quality of girls are significantly higher than those of boys,but both of them have an upward trend.
