Force-Joint Development Ability:The Study On The Family Strategy Of Homeworkers

Taking urbanization and industrialization as the background,this paper discusses the generation logic and family strategy of suburban homeworkers with households as the analysis unit.Becoming a homemaker is a form of informal employment in the suburbs.How can homeworkers endure the disadvantages of low unit price of products,repetitive and hard work content,and no welfare protection?? Why is the production method of being homeworkers still dynamic in modern suburbs? From the perspective of labor relations and social relations,homeworkers are regarded as an individualized object,ignoring the influence of social factors such as gender and age.To this end,it is necessary to analyze the impact of social factors on homeworkers with household as the analysis unit.However,there have been household-based studies that ignore the differences within the family of homeworkers,and the research focuses on labor-management interaction and ignores the interaction within the family.As a theoretical perspective based on household analysis units,the perspective of family development ability can make up for the shortcomings of current research.The perspective of family development ability is a theoretical perspective developed against the background of modernization and evaluating family development.In the context of external policy discourse,it emphasizes the formation of an atmosphere conducive to the family growth and the government’s duty to families;however,from the subject’s perspective,family development ability highlights the family’s capacity to confront multiple risks and difficulties.In fact,the ability of family development is not only the difference in size and type,but more importantly,it contains the difference in the internal structure of the family.On this basis,this paper divides homeworkers into two ideal types,maintenance-type homeworkers and developmental homeworkers,and establishes the analysis path of family development ability and the family strategy.Taking the household as the unit of analysis,family care responsibility and the family reproduction are the main reasons that cause the labor force to become a homeworker.Maintenance family founders with weak family development capabilities form mutual aid groups based on neighborhood relationships,and neighbors communicate to obtain access information for family co-workers,get together to work,help catch up with work,and divide labor to pick up children to and from school;And family substitutes who lack joint efforts within the family adopt the method of self-exploitation or limited mobilization of family members.When there is a conflict between the homeworker and the contractor in terms of unstable supply and the unit price,the tactful and indirect strategy of secretly receiving goods at the same time is adopted.Developmental homeworkers,who have strong development ability,mobilize the elderly,children or family labor after work to be homeworkers,forming a family strategy of husband and wife cooperation and intergenerational synergy.In addition,homeworkers can have more initiatives in interacting with the contractor,and then form a strategy of passive receipt,active exit,and "stingy" and "calculation" to fight for benefits.This paper argues that the reason for the vitality of homeworkers in the family field lies in the existence of joint-force development ability in migrant families.Joint-force development ability has two meanings.One is that within the family is an integration mechanism.Family members form a common cognition,and under the guidance of common development goals,a clear division of labor is finally manifested as a community of destiny.The second refers to the family’s search for synergy with other families and contractors in the labor market.Family development requires not only the formation of synergies among the various subjects within the family,but also emphasizes the formation of synergies between the family as a whole and other family and with the contractor.The joint-force development ability is based on the development ability of the family.Different from quantifying family development ability into specific indicators or dividing it into different types of capabilities,this paper looks at the differences in the internal structure of families from the perspective of family development ability theory,that is,finds the constituent basis of family development ability from the perspective of family development ability,and finds that different families have different degrees of joint-force development ability,and the joint-force development ability is embodied in the family strategies generated when the family interacts with other families,within the family and the labor market,which in turn reconstructs family relationships and family functions.
