With the rapid development of China’s economy and the upgrading of industrial structure,the phenomena of career transitions are becoming more and more common,and the problem of new employees’ career adaptation is becoming prominent.The difficulty of adaptation in the early stage of employment is not only a "hindrance" to the development of personal career,but also will increase the operating cost of enterprises and reduce profits,especially for the long-term development of small and medium-sized enterprises.The traditional human resource management mode focuses on the "economic labor cost",which is contrary to the "overall development of people" and "career development of employees" to a certain extent.In view of this situation,the traditional administrative mode is obviously inadequate,"people-oriented" social work intervention is imminent.During my internship in Q manufacturing enterprise,the author found that the new employees in the enterprise had various adaptation difficulties.Based on this,the author carried out relevant research.This passage takes all new employees of Q as research samples,collects data through literature research method,interview method,observation method,scale method and other methods,and conducts demand analysis on the adaptation of new employees.Based on the theory of rational emotion and the theory of symbolic interaction,this study makes service plans for the two new employees who have problems of orientation,improves their adaptability to career and cultivates their ability to actively face various difficulties and seek solutions in their future career.After the end of the service,the author evaluated the effectiveness of the service by using scale and interview,and carried out a return visit according to the plan.It was found that social work alleviated the problem of new employees’ career adaptation to a certain extent,and achieved great results.Study found that enterprise new employee career adaptations consist of four aspects: professional skills,professional psychology,professional interpersonal relationship and professional environment.Usually,most enterprises new recruits have vocational adjustment problems,and rarely get a single index which doesn’t adapt to the new career.Most of them exist two or more than two problems,And these specific problems need to be identified by professionals at which level and whether intervention is needed.In the research process,the author has the following thoughts: When social work helps new employees to solve the problem of career adaptation in the real workplace,it should be demand-oriented,give full play to professional advantages,make comprehensive use of all resources,and solve the problem effectively;Case service has a high demand on the ability of social workers.Social workers should focus on the right orientation,improve the ability of researching theory and developing practice,and use professional methods to achieve the optimization of services.When the demands of the client are inconsistent with those of the enterprise,the social worker should put the interests of the client first under normal circumstances.
