A Study On The Relationship Among Primary And Secondary School Teachers' Career Management, Career Adaptability And Job Self-efficacy

In recent years,the organizational career management of teachers in our country has become increasingly rich.At the same time,policies and social trends strongly encourage teachers to take the initiative to conduct individual career management.How to effectively promote the organizational career management of teachers,from the external environment to promote more active career management of teachers? As an important internal resource of work,work self-efficacy and career adaptability have been pointed out that they are both important factors that effectively promote job satisfaction.In this context,starting from the work self-efficacy of primary and secondary school teachers,this study studies the relationship among OCM,work self-efficacy,career adaptability and ICM of teachers.The content of this study mainly includes two parts:In the first study,121 primary and secondary school teachers were recruited to localize and revise the Work Self-efficacy Questionnaire.The results showed that :(1)There were 21 questions in the revised questionnaire,including task self-efficacy,assertive self-efficacy,negative emotional self-efficacy,and empathic self-efficacy.(2)The internal consistency coefficient ? of the total questionnaire was 0.889,and the internal consistency coefficient ? of each questionnaire was between 0.724 and 0.871.The results of confirmatory factor analysis show that the four-factor model fits well.In the second study,371 primary and middle school teachers were selected to analyze the status quo of OCM,work self-efficacy,career adaptability and ICM through a questionnaire survey,and to further explore the relationship between the four variables,as well as the mediating role of work self-efficacy and career adaptability.The results showed that :(1)the average score of work self-efficacy and its dimensions was above 4,and the score of task self-efficacy was the highest.The average score of OCM,career adaptability and ICM is also above 4.(2)Work self-efficacy,OCM,career adaptability and ICM have significant differences in demographic variables.Work self-efficacy has significant differences in teaching years and professional titles,and ICM has significant differences in professional titles.(3)Significant correlations were found among the four variables;(4)Work self-efficacy plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between OCM and ICM;(5)Work self-efficacy and career adaptability play a significant role as a chain mediator between OCM and ICM.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The revised "Work Self-efficacy Questionnaire" has good reliability and validity,and can be used as an effective tool to measure the work self-efficacy of primary and secondary school teachers;(2)Work self-efficacy perception is affected by teaching years,professional title and teaching years,and self-career management is affected by professional title.(3)There is a significant correlation between OCM,work self-efficacy,career adaptability and ICM;(4)OCM has a positive predictive effect on ICM,and work self-efficacy plays a significant part of the mediating role between them;(5)Work self-efficacy and career adaptability play a significant role in the chain between OCM and ICM,that is,OCM affects teachers' ICM through work self-efficacy and career adaptability.
