| Loneliness is a common psychological problem among adolescents, which can cause depression, suicide, truancy, and juvenile delinquency.Academic stress is also a psychological problem that young people need to face. This study explores the relationship between academic stress and adolescent loneliness, and whether emotion regulation strategies and psychological resilience play a mediating role in it.The research results can reveal the condition of academic stress and loneliness of adolescents,as well as the impact of stress on loneliness and its mechanism,to provide a theoretical basis for the intervention of loneliness in adolescents. This study conducted a survey in 813 junior three students.Using SPSS22.0 for difference test and correlation analysis.Using Process3.5 to test the intermediary model, founding that:(1)The academic stress of girls is significantly higher than that of boys;the academic stress of urban students is significantly higher than that of rural students; The psychological resilience of students from complete family is significantly higher than that of students from single-parent families, and their loneliness is significantly lower than that of students from single-parent families;the psychological resilience and the use of cognitive reappraisal strategy of class leaders are significantly higher than those of non-class leaders. The use of expression suppression strategy and loneliness of class leaders are significantly lower than those of non-class leaders;the psychological resilience and the use of cognitive reappraisal strategy of students whose parents have higher education levels are significantly higher than those of students with lower education levels of their parents;the academic stress of students with left-behind experience is significantly higher than that of students who have no left-behind experience, and the psychological resilience as well as the use of cognitive reappraisal strategy of students with left-behind experience was significantly lower than that of students without left-behind experience.(2)Academic stress is significantly positively correlated with loneliness.Psychological resilience is significantly negatively correlated with loneliness.Cognitive reappraisal strategy in emotion regulation strategies is significantly negatively correlated with loneliness.Expression suppression strategy is significantly positively correlated with loneliness.Academic stress is significantly negatively correlated with cognitive reappraisal strategy.Academic stress is significantly positively correlated with expression suppression strategy.Academic stress is significantly negatively correlated with psychological resilience.Psychological resilience is significantly positively correlated with cognitive reappraisal strategy, and significantly negatively correlated with expression suppression strategy.(3)Psychological resilience has a significant mediating effect between academic stress and loneliness, expression suppression strategy has a significant mediating effect between academic stress and loneliness, and cognitive reappraisal strategy hasn’t a significant mediating effect;(4)Psychological resilience and expression suppression strategy play multiple mediation effects between academic stress and loneliness. The above results indicate that, for junior three students, academic stress directly predicts loneliness, while psychological resilience and emotional regulation strategies play multiple mediating role in the mechanism by which academic stress affects loneliness. The thesis finally puts forward educational opinions and countermeasures on reducing academic stress, improving psychological resilience, and using emotion regulation strategies. |
