Data from the seventh national census show that China’s population aged 60 and above is 264.019 million,accounting for 18.70% of the total population,of which the population aged 65 and above is 190.635 million,accounting for 13.50%.Compared with the sixth National census in 2010,the proportion of people aged 60 and over increased by 5.44 percentage points,and the proportion of people aged 65 and over increased by 4.63 percentage points.It is not hard to see from the data that,The problem of aging in our society has been very serious,In this context,We should pay more attention to the pension undertakings,Focusing on the later life quality of life of the elderly,At present,pension institutions are an important part of China’s pension system,It is also a way that people prefer to choose,But China’s elderly care industry started late,Weak foundation,The pension system is not perfect enough,There are fewer institutions providing professional care services for the elderly,The staff in the pension institutions tend to complete the management requirements of the unit and institution,That the elderly to provide the most basic daily life care services,Ignoring the spiritual and emotional needs of the elderly.Due to the ability to adapt to the new environment,the elderly will feel fear of the unfamiliar nursing environment,the absence of leaving the family;the helplessness of being abandoned by the family,and the economic burden.During my internship in a T pension institution in B City,Guided by the ecosystem theory,Collect research data by literature method,observation method and semi-structure interview method,The intervention of social adaptation in the way of individual social work,Through the analysis of the ecosystem of the elderly and the observation of daily life,the specific manifestations and causes of the social adaptation problems of the elderly are summarized,And to the micro-system for the elderly,Meso system and macro system intervention,At the micro-level,By guiding the elderly to discover their self-strengths,Listen to the old man’s inner thoughts,,To ease the elderly’s melancholy mood,Lead the elderly to get familiar with the environment,Help the elderly to build up their self-confidence,To relieve the psychological stress,Change the wrong self-perception;At the middle-view level,By conducting family talks,With the collective activities,Help the elderly to improve their parent-child relationship,Tips interpersonal communication and environmental adaptability,For the elderly to gain social support from their families and peer groups;At the macro level,Through the community "filial piety culture" propaganda,And summarize the loopholes of the institutional management system,Improved the negative perception of older adults within the community,The management system of pension institutions has been improved.Through the intervention of the ecosystem of the elderly,it helps the elderly solve the problem of social adaptation,enhances their sense of self-value,and enables that the elderly can spend their old age in pension institutions.The innovation of this study is to focus on the elderly population.Most scholars choose the disabled or semi-disabled elderly in pension institutions.It is the research object.Therefore,based on the ecosystem theory,this study tries to help the case owner solve the social adaptation problem through case work,but also provides a reference data for social work to study the social adaptation problem of the newly admitted elderly in pension institutions.
