| In recent years,E-sports has developed rapidly in China and become one of the favorite sports of the young generation.After ig E-sports club won the 2018 hero League World Championship,E-sports has become more mainstream and E-sports ecology has become the first choice for young people’s daily life and entertainment for many years.With the expansion of social networking platforms,E-sports groups such as E-sports and E-sports groups,such as e-sports,have also provided social networking platforms for E-sports fans,and E-sports groups such as E-sports and E-sports groups have also emerged;the research on this kind of users’ social behavior has the universal significance of group behavior research,and also has practical significance for the psychological research of users attracted by the development of emerging industries.The relationship between the motivation of E-sports users to participate in social media and participation behavior has certain research value,While clarifying the social behavior path of E-sports users,it helps the e-sports industry expand the audience,improve user viscosity,increase traffic revenue,so as to enhance the control and management of E-sports society and promote the healthy development of e-sports industry.At the same time,because the users in the e-sports circle have certain similarities with the star followers,they are virtual community groups gathered based on the same friendship,and have a strong sense of group identity,so the intermediary variable of social identity is increased,and microblog users,one of China’s largest social media platforms,are selected as the survey sample,This paper mainly studies whether and how the social media participation motivation of E-sports users affects the participation behavior,and whether the variable of social identity plays an intermediary role between the social media participation motivation and participation behavior of E-sports users.Using the methods of literature analysis and questionnaire survey,and drawing on the motivation scale,identity scale and behavior scale prepared by predecessors,this study summarizes four dimensions of the motivation variables of E-sports users’ social media participation: pleasure,self remodeling,expanding communication and benefit harvest,and three dimensions of the variables of E-sports users’ social identity,emotional attachment and value consideration,As well as the two dimensions of information browsing and investment participation of social media participation behavior variables of E-sports users,362 data were collected with the help of questionnaire survey.The data were analyzed by SPSS software,including descriptive statistical analysis,one-way ANOVA analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis and intermediary effect analysis.The results of this study show that:(1)E-sports users’ social media participation motivation has a significant positive impact on participation behavior,in which social identity plays a partial intermediary role,and three control variables are extracted:gender,age and viewing frequency of E-sports events.(2)Among them,the influence degree of each dimension of participation motivation variables on the information browsing dimension of participation behavior variables is as follows: pleasant emotion > benefit harvest > expanded communication > self reconstruction;The order of the influence of each dimension of participation motivation variables on the input of participation behavior variables is: expanded communication > benefit harvest >pleasant emotion > self reconstruction.(3)E-sports users’ social media participation motivation has a positive impact on social identity,and social identity has a positive impact on participation behavior.(4)The three control variables of gender,age and watching frequency of E-sports events play a certain control role in the three groups of influence relations: the influence of participation motivation on participation behavior,the influence of participation motivation on social identity,and the influence of social identity on participation behavior.Through data analysis,it is concluded that pleasant mood and expanding communication are the most important motivation factors for E-sports users to participate in social media.At the same time,social identity plays a certain role.Based on the research results,relevant suggestions are put forward for the better development of e-sports industry. |
