| Since the founding of New China,comprehensive development of education has been the major policy of Chinese education.As an essential part of comprehensive development of education,labor education plays an indispensable role.Labor education is the most direct embodiment of "education must be combined with productive labor and social practice",and school-based implementation is the main way to achieve educational goals.Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the theoretical research and practical exploration of labor education have been deepening,and certain achievements have been made.Nevertheless,the practical outcome of labor education is far from achieving the desired outcome,due to the restrictions of educational ideas,curriculum characteristics,curriculum resources and other components.In February 2019,the CPC Central Committee and The State Council issued "China’s Education Modernization 2035",a document that puts greater emphasis on the overall growth of students,vigorously cultivates quality education,and encourages the organic amalgamation of moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic,and labor instruction.More and more attention has been paid to labor education.The Compulsory Education Labor Curriculum Standard,promulgated in the Curriculum Plan and Curriculum Standard of Compulsory Education(2022 Edition),has caused a growing focus on labor education,distinguishing it from "comprehensive practical activities".Since the founding of New China,labor education has been a focus of numerous educational policies,and its value pursuit aspect has been continually enhanced: Combining education and production labor to address the issue of graduate employment;Fostering students’ labor concept,honing labor knowledge and abilities;Focusing on cultivating students’ comprehensive quality;We will build a pattern of all-round development and education.The curriculum attribute of labor education has changed: from the production labor included in extracurricular practice activities to the establishment of labor curriculum;Then from the labor education is a component of the comprehensive practice curriculum to the establishment of a separate labor education curriculum.The school-based implementation of labor education is determined by the attributes of labor education curriculum.The school-based implementation of labor education should follow the basic principles of natural nature,school nature,intuitiveness,resource richness and evaluation diversification.The basic procedure of school-based implementation is to clarify the goal of labor education,develop the curriculum of labor education,organize and implement the school-based curriculum,and manage and evaluate the school-based curriculum.Based on the analysis of the above policies and theories,taking W Primary School in Jinan as a case,the investigation finds that W Primary School has formed its characteristics in the longterm practice of labor education,which has shown good effects on the development of the school,the improvement of teachers’ professional ability,and the improvement of students’ labor interest and labor ability.But there are also some problems,such as the lack of teachers in labor education,scattered curriculum development and poor integration of curriculum resources.Therefore,under the policy background of "five education simultaneously",the school-based implementation of primary school labor education should clarify the nature and concept of labor education curriculum,optimize the teaching staff,and pay attention to the professional development and training of teachers.The labor curriculum system should be fashioned with both temporal and structural features,be innovative in its labor education,and enrich the curriculum content.Make good use of labor resources,strengthen the cooperative relationship between home and school;Perfect the school labor education internal management system,perfect the school labor education curriculum evaluation system. |
