Music is a unique art form and one of the most effective ways to relieve individual pressure.At present,there are many practical cases of relieving individual negative emotions by giving full play to the role of music expression elements,but they are mostly applied in the field of clinical medicine and are implemented for special groups.The survey found that the current junior high school students are facing serious academic anxiety,which puts forward higher requirements for music education.In the music appreciation class of junior high school,whether the teacher can effectively alleviate the anxiety of junior high school students and promote the change of their positive psychology based on the effectiveness of music performance elements in the teaching process is the focus of this paper.This paper regards the students of Class 1,Grade 2,of Q Middle School in Fangshan District,Beijing,as the experimental object.It compares the pre and post-test data of the academic anxiety scale to deeply explore the feasibility and effectiveness of music appreciation classes in alleviating academic anxiety among junior high school students.The main part is divided into four chapters.The first chapter describes the theoretical basis for music appreciation classes to alleviate junior high school students’ academic anxiety,providing theoretical support for practice;The second chapter investigates the current level of academic anxiety among junior high school students and explores the characteristics,influencing factors,and specific manifestations of academic anxiety,providing practical support for subsequent teaching practices;In Chapter 3,based on the effectiveness of rhythm,musical instruments,modes,and music type elements,music appreciation courses are designed and implemented to alleviate academic anxiety among junior high school students,while observing and evaluating their performance during the practice process;The fourth chapter draws a conclusion that music appreciation class can effectively alleviate academic anxiety of junior high school students through the comparison of pre and post test data in the practice class,analyzes and explains the influencing factors during the practice process,and summarizes four feasible suggestions for effectively alleviating academic anxiety of junior high school students in practice.This work mainly adopts a questionnaire survey,data analysis,and observation.The junior high school students in Q school were given the "Mental Health Diagnostic Test for Middle School Students-Academic Anxiety Subscale"(MHT)questionnaire compiled by Zhou Bucheng,and their performance in practice was observed.SPSS26.0 is used for data analysis and processing,and descriptive statistical analysis,paired sample T-test,and other statistical methods are used to sort out the data.The analysis results show that the academic anxiety of students in school Q is at a high level.According to the practical results,music appreciation classes that play the role of music performance elements can effectively alleviate the academic anxiety of junior high school students.Therefore,on the premise of teaching music knowledge,music teachers of junior high school can pay more attention to the emotional experience caused by music expression elements to alleviate the anxiety of students during the appreciation class teaching.At the same time,this method gradually promotes the sense of self-efficacy,self-confidence,and physical and mental health development of junior high school students.
