In 2016,the Ministry of Education released the Core Literacy of Chinese Students’ Development,which clarified the core literacy of students’ development and then proposed six core abilities of mathematics.As the cornerstone of the six core abilities,mathematical operation ability is a combination composed of knowledge,ability,emotion,attitude and values.It plays a particularly important role and position in the learning of mathematics.It is the basic ability that students must master in the learning of mathematics.In the process of teaching senior three for two consecutive years,the author found that there are still some problems in the mathematical operation ability of senior three students.The third year of high school is the inspection stage after three years of high school learning,which can evaluate the level of students’ computing literacy more objectively.Therefore,it is of great significance to investigate the current situation of senior three students’ mathematical operation ability to improve the level of students’ mathematical operation ability.This paper,by searching the relevant literature theory,compiled the mathematical operation ability test volume and questionnaire of the senior three students,using the evaluation framework of mathematical operation literacy level to evaluate;A total of 209 students from two experimental classes and two parallel classes in senior three were selected as the objects of this study.They were tested for mathematical operation ability and interviewed with teachers.Questions in the questionnaire were analyzed one by one from the perspectives of test presentation,test points,students’ answers,typical questions and teaching strategies,and the following conclusions were drawn: The arithmetic ability level of senior three students has basically reached Level 2,but some students have not reached level 1.There was no significant difference between boys’ and girls’ mathematical skills.The quality level of students in the same level is similar;The overall operational ability level of senior three students is general,and most students’ operational level is at level 2.There are obvious differences between the students of parallel class and experimental class in mathematical operation ability level of experimental class is higher than that of parallel class.Through the analysis and summary,it is found that students have the following problems in mathematical operation ability: basic operation concepts,operation rules and basic theorems are not firmly mastered;In the context of correlation or synthesis,it is difficult to quickly and accurately determine the objects to be calculated,and there are also problems in the innovation of computation.According to the characteristics of the problem can not build a clear calculation idea,choose the calculation method;Due to the weak computing ability,the correct calculation results can not be obtained,and the results can not be used to express the problem.Finally,through the analysis and research of the test paper,the problems encountered by students in the operation process and the causes of errors are found out,and four strategies are put forward to improve the mathematical operation literacy of senior three students: Strengthen students’ basic knowledge and basic operation skills;Improve students’ mathematical thinking level and interest in mathematics;Cultivate students’ good computing habits;Enhance teachers’ own literacy and exemplary role.
