The situation of physical and mental harm to preschool children is repeatedly prohibited. One of the common causes of injuries to young children in kindergarten is the physical and psychological harm caused by teachers’ behavioral mistakes during the process of care and education.Timely prevention of educational behavioral risks of preschool teachers(hereinafter referred to as "teacher behavioral risks")can reduce the likelihood of teachers harming young children. This study refers to the three steps of risk prevention and divides behavioral risk prevention strategies into three steps:risk identification, risk assessment, and risk response.Among them, the process of behavioral risk identification refers to risk related theories and the theory of planned behavior used to predict and explain the generation of individual behavior, and divides behavioral risk identification into two tasks: risk education behavior identification, hidden danger and crisis identification.Through field research,we preliminarily identify the possible risk education behaviors in teachers’ daily life and make observation records.According to the observation records,we preliminarily identify hidden dangers, aiming to find problems and lay the foundation for interviews.Due to the subjectivity of risk identification, interviews were conducted with experienced teachers and managers in kindergarten teaching and management regarding behavioral risk identification, assessment, and response based on observation records. The original interview materials were encoded using Nvivo 12 software, and the identification results and basis, evaluation results and basis, and response strategies of behavioral risks by experienced teachers and managers were summarized as the basis for the formation of a three-step strategy for teacher behavioral risk prevention.Based on the analysis of interview data, the following conclusions can be drawn:firstly, from the perspective of identifying teacher behavior risks, threats, lack of physical protection, deprivation, public criticism, flipping old accounts, boring training, excessive negation, and deception are 8 common behaviors of teacher behavior risks in kindergartens;Teacher competence, kindergarten management, and social pressure have been identified as the main hidden dangers that pose behavioral risks for preschool teachers.Secondly, from the perspective of teacher behavior risk assessment, respondents rated physical harm to young children as a more serious behavioral risk compared to mental harm to young children; The basis for evaluating teacher behavior risk includes explicit behavioral attitude, behavioral stance, and three-dimensional dimensions of behavioral time.Thirdly, from the perspective of teacher behavior risk response, the response path can be summarized as a spiral upward process of learning practice problem discovery reflection and re learning, and re practice;Risk management should be carried out by individual teachers, kindergarten management, and social support.
