Literacy and writing is an important teaching task in primary school,which runs through the whole process of students’ learning.This teaching task is not only the basis for reading and writing,but also the premise and guarantee for cultivating students’ Chinese literacy,and it is also a necessary means for communication and cultural dissemination.Therefore,literacy and writing,as an important teaching content of the primary school Chinese curriculum,are of vital significance to the completion of the compulsory education Chinese curriculum goals.The third grade is the period of consolidation and continuous development of Chinese character learning,and it is also a critical stage connecting the past and the future.Therefore,developing good writing habits and strengthening the understanding of the sound,shape,and meaning of Chinese characters can help students express themselves more clearly and concretely.Enhance their reading comprehension and oral communication ability,but also improve students’ writing ability and cultural literacy,so teachers’ understanding of students’ learning situation is particularly important.From the middle of elementary school,the amount of literacy is increasing,and the number of homophones and similar characters is gradually increasing.It is difficult for students to master Chinese characters accurately.Because some front-line teachers lack innovative teaching methods,they also overemphasize the amount of literacy and ignore it.If the quality is compromised,it is easy for students to write typos.The existence of this phenomenon not only affects primary school students’ mastery of Chinese language and characters,but also directly affects the improvement of primary school students’ Chinese literacy.Therefore,this study aims to summarize and classify common typos in the third grade,analyze their causes,explore effective literacy and writing teaching strategies,and provide theoretical and practical value for front-line teachers.In order to have a more realistic and specific understanding of the situation of primary school students writing typos in the learning process,and at the same time find out the existing problems and explore solutions.This study conducted a survey of 106 students in the third grade of Z Primary School in Chongqing.In addition,it conducted in-depth interviews with six Chinese teachers and asked them about their views on the phenomenon of typos.It was found that the main reasons for the third grade students to write typos are: First,In the teaching of literacy and writing,teachers’ grasp of the new curriculum standards is not precise enough;second,teachers in literacy and writing teaching ignore the actual learning situation and needs of students;third,effective reinforcement in literacy and writing teaching is not enough.In view of the above reasons,this paper puts forward effective improvement strategies from three aspects: one is to grasp the teaching objectives of literacy and writing,and implement the requirements of the new curriculum standard;the other is to pay attention to the learning situation and strengthen the guidance of students;,Strengthen Chinese character learning and consolidate exercises.
