| Rural revitalization requires education first.Teachers are the basic support for the development of rural education and an important force to promote rural revitalization.The policy of targeted normal students aims to cultivate localized teachers with comprehensive quality and one specialty rooted in rural areas,and solve the problem of weak rural education foundation.The training quality of directional normal students directly affects the quality of rural teachers and determines the level of rural education quality.In recent years,with the promotion of the targeted normal students policy and the increase of the number of students trained,the relevant competent departments have paid more attention to the quality of targeted normal students’ training and the academic performance of targeted normal students.This research takes the directional sports normal students from Yangzhou University,Nanjing Xiaozhuang University,and Yancheng Normal University as the research objects,and uses the research methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,comparative research,mathematical statistics,etc.to analyze the academic performance of directional sports normal students from the aspects of learning motivation,learning investment,learning achievements,etc.The main conclusion of this study is as follows:The overall academic performance of targeted physical education teachers is poor.Targeted physical education teachers face the problems of insufficient learning motivation,low learning engagement,and poor learning outcomes.Specifically,some targeted physical education normal school students have incorrect learning attitudes,weak planning in learning,and poor initiative in learning;Insufficient investment of time and effort in learning;Insufficient emphasis on social practice and low enthusiasm for qualification exams;The pass rate of course exams and the pass rate of CET-4 are also relatively low.At the same time,there are significant differences in the academic performance of orienteering physical education normal students with different individual characteristics,such as gender,place of origin and college,which are mainly reflected in the learning results.The percentage of female students getting scholarships,the passing rate of course examinations and the level of professional ability are significantly higher than that of male students.The orienteering sports normal students in central Jiangsu Province have the best performance in obtaining scholarships and passing the course examinations,while the orienteering sports normal students in southern Jiangsu Province have the highest passing rate of CET-4.Yancheng Normal University has the highest proportion of targeted sports students who have won scholarships,and Yangzhou University has the highest passing rate of the course examination and CET-4.In view of the problems and current situation of the academic performance of the orienteering sports normal students,the following suggestions are put forward: from the personal level of the orienteering sports normal students,it is necessary to clarify the personal learning objectives and make good learning planning;Expand extracurricular learning and improve personal overall quality;Actively participate in teaching practice activities and improve teaching ability.From the aspect of training colleges for directional normal students: attach importance to the ideological and political education of directional sports normal students,stimulate learning motivation and ignite learning interest;Strengthen the support of college environment for the learning input of orienteering normal students;Optimize the curriculum system and improve the teaching level of teachers.From the level of education authorities: establish a perfect information feedback mechanism,timely grasp the school learning situation of orienteering sports normal students,start the forward and backward mechanism of orienteering sports normal students,and ensure the training quality of orienteering sports normal students. |
