The intersection of Chinese public museum with tourism earlier is different from most cognition.But they only with more attention on self-construction at previous time.For a long time,doubts about the ability of museums to engage in tourism-related business activities have slowed their integration with the tourism market.Since China supported the opening of museums for free in 2008,museums have begun to think about deep integration with the tourism industry and expand their traditional functions,which has contributed to a new format of museum tourism.From now on,the museum has become a important part of cultural tourism and on its critical period of development,which meets the needs of all sectors of society.At the same time,the museum’s own error thought,institutional resistance,ability shortness,and external institutional mechanisms also affect and restrict the development of museum tourism to a large extent.Therefore,it has important academic value and practical significance to study the exploitation of museum tourism’s value systematically.Deepening the understanding of the nature of museum tourism value and sorting out the demands of all sectors of society will help us to clarify the mechanism and path of museum value tourism exploitation.For this purpose,this paper takes Chinese public museums as the research object,and uses methods such as field research,literature research,and case analysis.On the basis of a detailed review of the development process of museum tourism,the paper also introduces the value analysis dimension of museums,and combines the use of cultural consumption,cultural Tourism and other theoretical tools,then tries to put forward a pertinent perspective of museum tourism exploitation.At the same time,as the integration of cultural undertakings,cultural industries and tourism industries,museum tourism’s exploitation isn’t a problem that museums can solve by themselves.In order to break the deadlock of its development,the need for brand building in the city where the museum is located,the upgrading needs of the tourism market,and the government’s financial support,also affect the museum’s tourism value,in addition to paying attention to the museum’s own conceptual understanding,capacity building and intrinsic value development.Therefore,in addition to the analysis of the museum’s own value,this paper also focus on city brand,tourism market,and city finance,in order to comprehensively and systematically think about the problem of museum tourism and provide some suggestions with certain decision-making reference value for museums and the government,In view of the above,this paper discusses from four parts.First of all,museum tourism’s concept.This part defines the concept of museum,fusion of culture and tourism,museum tourism,main part of museum tourism,value of museum.Second part discusses the history of museum and tourism’s combing in detail,and explores the times background of museum getting out of traditional ideas to develop its tourism value,providing a basis for the next chapter to study the origin and integration mechanism of museum tourism industry.The third part will first creatively comes up with museum tourism value’s constitution according to the original value of the museum,tries to explore the value content that can be integrated with tourism.Then discuss about museum tourism value development’s origin and future direction from all requirement aspects of government,museum,tourism,public.In order to solve the practical difficulties,the fourth part puts forward two suggestions related to the tourism development path of the museum from the perspective of tourism value from the dimension of promotion inside and outside the museum,which is to forge intrinsic value and strengthen externally communication.In the long run,the development of tourism value in China’s museums needs to break through some shackles of the cultural undertaking system and make substantial breakthroughs in marketization and industrialization.This is indeed a long and arduous process,which requires the relevant theoretical research to be prospective.This paper is for this,and trying to be innovative.At the same time,in order to create a good environment for the museum tourism industry,it also puts forward some views on improving the efficiency of the government.
