Research On The Impact Of Large International Forum

China and South Asian Countries have long been good neighbors.In recent years,the exchange between China and the countries in South Asia has been getting more and more frequent and our economic trade cooperation developing rapidly.Our cooperation in wider fields and on higher levels is facing an important historical opportunity.Now this situation requires a national platform approved by both sides as the foundation.Against such background,China-South Asia Business Forum came into being eight years ago.It is the first forum mechanism established by the business circles of both sides for developing regional economic cooperation as well as a concentrated reflection of the wish shared by the business circles of the countries in the area to strengthen cooperation and achieve a win-win result.Eight years on,the Forum has not only fully displayed China’s regional advantages and huge potentials in cooperating with South Asian countries,but further promoted the cooperation and development in multiple fields.This thesis takes Forum as an example,and makes research on the effects exerted on the forum from three aspects,namely:society,economy&trade and image.The research shows that the forum has exerted active effect on the following aspects:promoting the attention and recognition of our province in South Asian countries,further making Kunming become the hub of connecting countries,further promoting the strengthening of multi-fields cooperation,bilateral foreign trade and foreign capital and foreign economy cooperation among our province and South Asian countries,promoting of the reputation of Yunnan in South Asian countries,further enhancing the contact and cooperation among our country and the government agencies and chambers of commerce in South Asian countries,the effect of forum on connecting Yunnan and in South Asian countries.
