In this era of transformation from "capital economy" to "knowledge economy",human capital is increasingly becoming an important source of core competitiveness of enterprises.More and more enterprises are taking the accumulation of human capital through employee training to a strategic height.As far as trade enterprises are concerned,the ability of sales staff will have a direct impact on the company’s performance.Therefore,it is of great significance to enhance the core competitiveness of trade enterprises through human capital accumulation of sales staff.In this paper,A company,A leading imported wine company in China,is taken as an example to discuss the optimization of sales staff training system by using the learning paths tool from the perspective of competence.Firstly,this paper introduces the related research on training theory,competency model,learning paths and improvement of sales staff training system.Secondly,based on access to archives and questionnaire survey data,this paper analyzes the current situation,existing problems and causes of A company’s sales staff training.Thirdly,aiming at the problems existing in A company’s sales staff training system,this paper establishes A competency model with 17 factors including basic knowledge,general ability,professional ability and management ability on the basis of clarifying the optimization objectives and principles of A company’s sales staff training system.Based on this model,this paper reconstructs A company’s sales staff training system,and establishes A new learning paths of A company’s sales staff on their career development path,thus providing A systematic plan for A company to carry out sales staff training in an orderly manner.Finally,this paper also put forward the new scheme implementation guarantee suggestions.In theory,this paper systematically discusses the optimization of A company’s sales staff training system based on training-related theories,competency model and learning paths,which has certain enlightening significance for the relevant research in the field of expanding training system optimization.In practice,this paper uses training theories and learning paths tools to design A company’s sales staff training system plan by building A competency model.This can not only provide reference for the managers of A Company to make decisions and management of sales staff training,but also provide reference for similar companies to improve and perfect the sales staff training system.
