A Study On Warehouse Location With Customer Satisfaction About Logistics Timeliness Of Company A

The logistics industry has developed rapidly accompanied by the prosperity of e-commerce in these years.The competition among companies is limited to not only traditional methods such as product quality and business models,but also logistics service,which is becoming important competitiveness for companies.Timeliness is one of the most important factors that affects the level of logistics services and improves customer satisfaction.At the same time,logistics timeliness is affected by the location of logistics nodes such as warehouses and distribution centers,which is one of the most basic influencing factors.In most small or medium enterprises,the warehouse also acts as a distribution center,playing the role of storage,circulation,and distribution.Therefore,reasonable location planning is critical for small or medium enterprises.This thesis studies the warehouse location selection problem of the company A.Firstly,this thesis introduces the research status and solution method of location problem in different situations.Secondly,it expounds the mixed integer programming model,the multi-objective programming model and the quantitative method of customer satisfaction with logistics timeliness,which lay a theoretical foundation for the research of this article.Thirdly,it analyses the current situation of warehouse operation of company A,and uses SPSS software to forecast the demand of large household appliances of company A in 2022.According to the situation and problems of the warehouse operation of company A,this thesis constructs a dual-objective model that minimizes the total logistics cost and maximizes customer satisfaction with logistics timeliness.Finally,it uses LINGO to solve the dual-objective location model and finds different options according to different preferences and the number of locations.The optimal scheme is selected by compares and analyses the options one by one,that provide reasonable reference suggestions for the warehouse location of company A.This thesis focus on the problem of location selection of the warehouse of company A,which can solve the actual problems company A are facing and has certain practical significance and application value.The location selection suggestions put forward in this thesis can help company A save logistics costs,improve customer satisfaction with logistics timeliness and further expand the market,which match with the company’s long-term development strategy.
