Polarization Or Melting? Research On The Evolution Of Tourism Island Effect In Mountainous Scenic Spot

The interaction between scenic spots and surrounding communities is an important part of tourism research.Nowadays,with the sustainable development of China’s cultural tourism industry,different types of scenic spots have their own merits.However,with the development of scenic spots,the differences between scenic spots and communities gradually increase.The emergence of tourism island effect and the constant stimulation of contradictions between scenic spots and communities have become obstacles to regional sustainable development.China is the first country to protect and utilize mountains as scenic resources.Mountaintype scenic spots as an important type of representative of scenic spots,in recent years,there have been more prominent conflicts between scenic spots and communities,revealing the existing status of tourism island effect in mountaintype scenic spots.At present,the research on tourism island effect in domestic academic circles mainly focuses on ethnic minority areas,island resorts and urban inner scenic spots,etc.,but lacks the research on mountain scenic spots.Taking Chaya Mountain Scenic Spot,the only AAAAA scenic spot in southern Henan,as a case study,this paper comprehensively uses text analysis and grounded theory research methods to study mountain scenic spots:(1)how tourism island effect is formed;(2)Evolution stage of tourism island effect;(3)Evolution mechanism of tourism island effect.The significance of this study lies in the following two levels:(1)Theoretical level:This paper constructs a model framework for the evolution of tourism island effect in mountain scenic spots,expands the research scope of tourism island effect,and enriches the discussion on the future development of mountain scenic spots;(2)Practical level:This paper is helpful to narrow the development gap within,the region,promote regional coordinated development and realize the high-quality development requirements of rural revitalization.The main research contents of this paper include:(1)The author crawls through octopus data collector to evaluate the tourist network in the case area and analyzes the word frequency,so as to understand tourists’ perception of tourism island effect;(2)The author obtained the interview data of community villagers,scenic spot staff and management Committee staff in the case area through many field investigations and interviews.Using Nvivo12 Plus software to three-level coding of interview text,through analysis,summed up the story line of the evolution of tourism island effect in Chaya Mountain scenic spot,and constructed the evolution model of tourism island effect in mountain scenic spot.(3)Based on the constructed evolution model,the author analyzes the evolution stage by stage,including evolution causes,evolution characteristics,evolution mechanism,etc.In view of the research contents and conclusions,According to the evolution model and story line of tourism island effect in Chaya Mountain Scenic Spot,and the current stage of tourism island effect evolution in Chaya Mountain Scenic Spot(isolated stage),this paper puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions for different subjects involved in tourism island effect:(1)Mountain scenic spots should innovate their business models and curb profit-seeking thinking;Respect the right to speak in the community and provide ways for the community to participate in tourism decision-making;Weakening the spatial boundary and attaching importance to the rate of landscape green space.(2)The community should rely on the tourism industry and lay out related formats;Identify with local development and actively participate in tourism;Optimize the community environment and create community tourism attractions.(3)The management committee should strengthen the system construction to ensure the participation of the community;Introduce cultural tourism talents and learn advanced management experience;Supplement community well-being and balance community development in scenic spots.Through the above suggestions,the author hopes that the future development of scenic spots can form a good interaction and symbiosis with the surrounding communities,and provide reference for the high-quality tourism development of other mountain scenic spots.
