Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Agricultural Industry Development In Underdeveloped Counties

Agricultural development plays a critical role in the process of China’s national economic growth.Agricultural development,as the foundation of a series of industries ’ developments,is of great significance in contributing to the urban-rural structure of the county economy(such as for Yanling County,Zhuzhou City),promoting the sustainable and synchronous development of urban and rural economy and culture,coordinating agriculture and industry to go neck and neck,and enhancing the happiness of farmers and urban residents.This thesis firstly reviews the concepts and basic theories in the field of agricultural economy and research progress both at home and abroad through the literature review.It emphatically concludes the successful experience of agricultural developments in foreign underdeveloped counties,including the analysis of the typical cases such as the Japanese village making movement and Swiss agriculture development.It also studies the enlightenment of the typical cases to the economic development of the agricultural industry in Yanling County.Secondly,this thesis conducts a systematic investigation and analysis of the current situation of rural agricultural development in Yanling County,including its administrative divisions and geographical information,as well as the agricultural development situation in agriculture,forestry,husbandry and fishery,crop seeding and agricultural product value since 2009.Based on this,the results of Yanling county’s agricultural industry development are discussed and summarized,and the main problems at the present stage are proposed in this thesis.Thirdly,this thesis uses Principal Component analysis to analyze and study the related factors that affect the agricultural economy in Yanling County.The results show that the factors affecting the agricultural development in Yanling County are mainly composed of three principal components.The variance contribution efficiency of the first type of principal component is 63.067%,which mainly relates to the content of agricultural science and technology and shows that agricultural science and technology is the main driving force of agricultural development in Yanling County at present.The second principal component accounts for20.294%,which mainly relates to the use amount and efficiency of cultivated land,indicating the necessity of agricultural land as a mean of agricultural production.The third principal component accounts for13.721%,which relates to agricultural water.The cumulative contribution efficiency of the three principal components is about 97.081%,indicating that these major contradictions should be taken as the starting point to solve the various contradictions in agricultural development.Finally,based on the Principal Component analysis results,this thesis makes the suggestion of the agricultural development path of the Yanling county,including the county industrial structure optimization,the employed population structure optimization,scientific planning,rational planning and land resources protection,improving the farmers ’professional quality,strengthening scientific and technological innovation,improving the infrastructure,promoting agricultural mechanization,and improving the ability of disaster prevention and so on.This thesis hopes to provide reference significance for the development of the agricultural industry in Yanling county and resemble areas.
