| Under the trend of De-Globalization,China proposed the "Maritime Silk Road" initiative to jointly promoting a regional cooperation platform with countries along the road.The construction of the "Maritime Silk Road" is conducive to promoting the import and export trade between China and the countries along the road and complementing each other’s advantages.Studying the impact of the Logistics Performance lndex(LPI)of countries along the “Maritime Silk Road” on China’s import and export trade will help China better understand the extent to which the secondary indicators of the LPI affect China’s import and export trade,so both side can build international logistics more efficiently.Eventually meet the mutually beneficial and win-win development strategic goals of China and the countries along the "Maritime Silk Road".Taking the LPI as the starting point,this paper analyzes China’s import and export trade status with the countries along the "Maritime Silk Road" and the LPI status of the countries along the "Maritime Silk Road".The empirical analysis part firstly using the gravity model to analyze the LPI of the countries along the road will affect China’s import and export trade volume.At the same time,the 6 secondary indicators of LPI are respectively analyzed,and then the secondary indicators of the LPI of each country in 2018 are clustered to find out the weaknesses in the development of logistics.According to the research and analysis,the following are the conclusions: The core variables of this article,the LPI,have a significant role in promoting China’s import and export of countries along the "Maritime Silk Road";the impact of the "Maritime Silk Road" countries LPI’s secondary indicators on China’s import and export trade from large to small are transport timeliness、logistics Infrastructure、logistics service quality、transportation convenience、customs clearance efficiency、cargo tracking capabilities;and the cluster analysis’ s results show that the improvement of LPI has the greatest and most significant effect on high-level countries’ promotion of China’s import and export trade,followed by middle-level countries,Low-level countries failed in the significance test.Finally,based on the research conclusions,this article puts forward the following policy recommendations:China should promote the depth of cooperation with countries along the "Maritime Silk Road",prioritizing the development of logistics infrastructure and transportation timeliness. |
