An Empirical Study On The Promotion Of Social Integration By Work Integrated Social Enterprises

Since China’s reform and opening up,as the focus of China’s economic and social development to social governance,along with the social governance also gradually thorough,the various government departments in an effort to explore the functions of the government’s own department gradually transferred to the related governance body,many nonprofits began to become government transfer related functional or purchasing service partners,under the background of the social enterprise,Social enterprises have become an important way for the third sector to explore transformation and promote good cooperation and interaction between the government,non-profit organizations and the market.Among social enterprises,work Integration social enterprises(WISEs)is the most prominent type.It provides employment for vulnerable groups(such as the disabled,rural women,the elderly,etc.)to promote social equity.Its primary purpose is to create jobs and promote social integration.Taking empowerment as the theoretical framework and taking the snail Building dream Car Washing in C City as an example,this paper explores how work-integrated social enterprises can survive and develop in the face of the trend of public welfare and business integration under the background of China’s social governance transformation,so as to further promote the achievement of social missions.And the influence and key factors of job-integrated social enterprises in promoting the social integration of people with mental disabilities in various aspects(economic,social,policy,law and culture).First of all,through the case study,this paper finds that Chinese private non-enterprise units,driven by their own mission expansion and self-hematopoietic function,set up work-integrated social enterprises,forming a dual-track system mode,and they feed each other,closely linked,and advance side by side.By taking social governance theory and empowerment theory as research tools,this paper explores the empowerment of social enterprises with integrated work and the empowerment mode formed from the three levels of empowerment.It is found that car wash and its parent organization share the same management level and are closely connected in daily activities,thus forming a double-track empowerment mode.However,due to the different nature of the two,there are differences in empowerment,and the scope of empowerment of the car wash shop is wider than that of the parent organization;Secondly,through access to wash the car close contact groups such as the mental disabilities and their families found that compared with the previous social dilemma,mental disorder after integrated social enterprises to participate in work,in social integration four dimensions have varying degrees of implementation,combined with the above to find work integrated social enterprise of the key factors to promote social fusion;Finally,by combing research for social inclusion policy for the disabled,found that China attaches great importance to the protection of disabled persons the right to development,but there are still many deficiencies in the process of development,all the four aspects of the social integration for the disabled to ascend,and to promote social integration work for the disabled integrated inadequate protection of the social enterprise,leading to the degree of social integration for the disabled to ascend.In order to reflect on the background of insufficient "top-down" policy guarantee,as the main body of social governance,work-integrated social enterprises can exert their subjectivity to realize the "bottom-up" policy promotion path.Based on this,this paper summarizes four conclusions: 1.The survival mode of work-integrated social enterprise and its discussion:social organizations establish work-integrated social enterprise.The management straddle the two,daily activities are closely linked,and the two support each other to further achieve social goals,forming a "dual-track system mode".However,because this model is in the development stage,especially the characteristic unit society in northeast China,it has dual dilemma in reality and theory.2.Work-integrated social enterprise and social integration: through research,it is found that the impact of work-integrated social enterprise on the four factors of social integration has different degrees of influence,among which the most obvious influence is economy,followed by society,culture,and finally policies and laws;The key factors of work-integrated social enterprise for promoting social integration are economic independence,more comprehensive empowerment,and open workplace.The role and function of empowerment in social integration is to catalyze,promote and connect(bridge);3.Factors leading to social exclusion in work-integrated social enterprises: the crisis caused by the dependence of work-integrated social enterprises on government policies and the screening of mentally disabled people through training and evaluation in order to maintain service quality;4,work integrated social enterprises in the main role in the social governance: social enterprises provide opportunities for the three departments,is that you can make up the three departments malfunctions,and go beyond the "fourth branch" three departments,created a new situation in multiple participation in social governance,to effectively solve the social problems and promote fairness and justice has an irreplaceable role.
