Research On The Spatial Spillover Effect Of Economic Growth In Zhengzhou Metropolitan Are

Metropolitan area is not only an important carrier of regional competition and regional economic development,but also an important strategic deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council.As an important growth pole of economic development in Henan Province,Zhengzhou metropolitan area has a direct impact on the sustained and rapid development of the Central Plains.Firstly,this paper makes a qualitative and quantitative analysis on the economic development of Zhengzhou metropolitan area.Secondly,the global Moran index,local Moran index,disequilibrium index and primacy index are used to study.Finally,using the spatial panel model and the data of Zhengzhou metropolitan area from 2010 to 2020,this paper decomposes the spatial spillover effect of economic growth in Zhengzhou metropolitan area into direct effect and indirect effect,and obtains the factors and growth path affecting the spatial spillover effect of economic growth in Zhengzhou metropolitan area.Finally,the following conclusions are drawn:1.There is a negative spatial correlation between the economic growth of Zhengzhou metropolitan area from 2010 to 2020,indicating that the overall radiation diffusion effect of Zhengzhou metropolitan area is weak;Zhengzhou,the provincial capital,is more prone to the inflow of production factors(H-L high-low agglomeration mode),while Xuchang in the surrounding area shows(H-H high concentration mode),which shows that the concentration in this region and adjacent regions is high,and Kaifeng and Xinxiang have the phenomenon of outflow of production factors(L-H low high concentration mode).This kind of concentration has spatial heterogeneity.2.The proportion of government expenditure to the general economic growth of Zhengzhou will significantly promote the urbanization and local economic development,that is,the proportion of public expenditure to the general economic growth of Zhengzhou.Fixed asset investment has no significant impact on economic growth.3.The overall spillover effect of science and technology investment and industrial structure on urban regional economic growth is negative,and the proportion of employment,urbanization rate,fixed asset investment and government general public budget expenditure is positive.In view of the above conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward: increase the investment of scientific research funds and accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements;Promote the optimization of industrial structure and drive the economic growth of metropolitan area;Increase the government’s general public budget expenditure and strengthen macro-control policies;Improve the level of urbanization and increase employment opportunities;Strengthen the internal links of the metropolitan area and give play to the leading role of Zhengzhou as a national central city.
