The Research On Guangxi’s First Five-year Plan

China’s First Five-Year Plan(1953-1957)was the first national economic development plan,which formulated by the Communist Party of China that on the guidance of Marxism and in accordance with China’s specific reality.It is the specific application of Marxist.The formulation and implementation of China’s First Five-Year Plan has promoted the rapid development of China’s social economy that laid a foundation for China’s socialist industrialization.Guangxi’s First Five-Year Plan was an important part of China’s “first five-year” Plan,which was the refinement of the National Plan.On the basis of comprehensively considering natural conditions,social conditions and total investment,Guangxi Province has drawn up the “first five-year” plan which focusing on the development of agriculture with Marxism took as the guiding ideology.Guangxi’s “first five-year” plan promoted the development of Guangxi’s national economy by making reasonable arrangement for local industry,transportation and so on,paying attention to the economic development of ethnic minority areas.Firstly,the paper introduced the background of Guangxi’s “first five-year” Plan.In the context of the construction of the National “first five-year” plan,to give play the enthusiasm of the central and local governments,it has become an important work for the local to formulate the local “first five-year” plan which based on the local economic situation.It was an important way to promote the development of socialist society and economy by regulating social production designedyl.Secondly,on the basis of examined the formulation of Guangxi’s “first five-year” Plan and summarized the main contents,expounded the basic characteristics of Guangxi’s “first five-year” Plan.According to the general line of the transitional period and the requirements of the national“first five-year” plan,Guangxi’s “first five-year” plan included two aspects: socialist construction and socialist transformation,that is,developing productive forces and transforming production relations at the same time.The characteristics of Guangxi’s “first five-year” plan reflected the backward social economy and unbalanced productive forces of Guangxi at the beginning of Liberation.Thirdly,combsed the achievements of Guangxi’s “first five-year” plan construction,and then analyzed the historical significance of Guangxi’s “first five-year” plan.The completion of the “first five-year” plan laid an important foundation for promoting the development of industry and agriculture,improving people’s living standards and improving ethnic relations to a certain extent,supported the national socialist industrialization construction,improved the masses of all ethnic groups in Guangxi’s understanding of socialism,and accumulated important experience for Guangxi’s economic construction today.The “first five-year” plan of Guangxi was the result of correct application of Marxism,which promoted the combination of Marxism and Guangxi construction,and enriched the content of the Sinicization of Marxism from different levels.
