| In recent years,with the continuous expansion of domestic railroad lines,fast railroads and high-speed railroads,the rapid growth of private car ownership and the rise of online cars,traditional road transport enterprises have suffered from the impact of the entire industry passenger volume and passenger turnover declined year by year.In the difficult external environment,enterprises mainly in the road passenger transport industry have been undergoing strategic transformation under the policy guidance of the national transportation department,and China’s road transport industry has thus begun to enter a phase of deep adjustment.This paper selects JXCY company,which is mainly engaged in road transportation,as a case study to examine its performance in the process of strategic transformation based on basic theories such as stakeholders and corporate life cycle.The article first analyzes the motivation of the strategic transformation of the case company and finds that the company,with its advantages as an old state-owned transportation enterprise and strong ability to integrate passenger transportation resources,has carried out strategic measures such as Scale expansion,Online platform construction,Offline resource integration under the guidance of the opinions of the national transportation department,despite the overall downturn of the road passenger transportation market and the year-on-year decline in operating income.The article also discusses strategic measures such as the "technology + service" operation model.Secondly,the article adds the assessment of CSR performance based on the four-dimensional theory of Balanced Scorecard finance,customer,internal operation,learning and growth,so as to study the company’s transformation performance.The results show that most of JXCY financial indicators in the strategic transformation are lower than comparison companies and industry average,the company’s operating income,gross margin,and net profit have not been effectively relieved in the context of the overall decline of the industry,JXCY has some problems in the process of strategic transformation.Finally,based on the above analysis and based on the company’s own actual situation,this paper puts forward several suggestions to improve JXCY strategic transformation performance: first,to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the main road transportation industry,develop new industry formats and explore new industries;second,to increase the integration of enterprise resources and improve the efficiency of the utilization of enterprise capital and transportation resources;third,to strengthen the internal risk control of the enterprise,reduce various risks and improve the response capability to major public emergencies. |
