In recent years,the overall structure of the world economy has gradually shifted from an industrial-oriented to a service-oriented economy.The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China also clearly pointed out that China’s economic development has changed from high-speed growth to high-quality growth at this stage,which shows that our country The economy has shifted from being driven by factors in the past to a new stage driven by innovation.Now it is in a critical period of the new normal economy,where the rate of economic growth is slowing down,the industrial structure is optimized and upgraded,and the old and new kinetic energy are transformed.As the latest ideological achievement of socialist Marxist political economy with Chinese characteristics,the five development concepts guide my country’s economic development towards high quality and high efficiency.The producer service industry has the characteristics of knowledge-intensive and technologyintensive,which makes its role more and more important in the development of the national economy and the adjustment of the national economic structure.In order to realize the adjustment and optimization of the industrial structure and promote the highquality development of my country’s economy,we need to promote the development of the producer service industry to release new impetus for economic growth.However,on the whole,the overall proportion of my country’s service industry in the economy is still far behind that of developed countries.The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that "urban agglomerations should be taken as the main body to build an urban pattern of coordinated development of large,medium and small cities and small towns".On January 3,2020,General Secretary Xi Jinping made a major decision-making and strategic deployment at the sixth meeting of the Central Finance and Economics Committee chaired by him,to promote the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Shuangcheng Economic Circle and build it into a high-quality development of the western economy.important growth pole.To promote the high-quality economic development of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle,we need to deeply understand and grasp the new theories of the five development concepts of innovation,coordination,greenness,openness and sharing proposed by the socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Taking the Chengdu-Chongqing Shuangcheng Economic Circle as the research object,the thesis first reviews the relevant theories on the agglomeration of producer services and high-quality economic development in the academic world,and then analyzes the mechanism of how the agglomeration of producer services affects the level of high-quality economic development.Then,according to the specific panel data of 16 cities in the Chengdu-Chongqing Shuangcheng Economic Circle from 2003 to 2019,to analyze the agglomeration level and development status of the producer service industry in the Chengdu-Chongqing Shuangcheng Economic Circle,and to specialize and diversify the producer service industry.As the core variable of this paper,the agglomeration index is calculated by using the location entropy and the improved Herfindahl index.At the same time,the principal component analysis method is used to measure the high-quality economic development index under the indicator system.Finally,a fixed effect model and a comprehensive FGLS model are constructed to test the impact of producer service agglomeration on the high-quality economic development of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.Through the research and analysis,this paper mainly draws several conclusions:(1)The overall level of high-quality economic development in the Chengdu-Cho ngqing economic circle is relatively rapid,but there are still large differences in the leve l of high-quality economic development between cities.The producer service industry al so shows a trend of expanding agglomeration level,but the development of its sub-secto rs is mainly concentrated in the relatively low-end industries,while the development of the high-end producer service industry is still relatively slow.The overall development of the producer service industry in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle still has a s eries of problems such as weak agglomeration,small agglomeration scale,and unbalanc ed development among sub-sectors.(2)From the empirical analysis results,the improvement of the level of specialized agglomeration and diversified agglomeration of the producer service industry can actively promote the high-quality economic development of the ChengduChongqing economic circle.There is also some internal connection between them,and they can increase the knowledge spillover effect of enterprises and the technology spillover effect of the industry through internal coordination,so that they can jointly promote the further improvement of the level of high-quality economic development.(3)The level of specialized agglomeration of producer services in the two dualcore cities of Chengdu and Chongqing has a greater impact on their high-quality economic development,while other cities in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle are due to the diversified agglomeration of this industry on their high-quality economy.The development impact is more pronounced.According to the research conclusions drawn,the thesis puts forward corresponding policy suggestions from the following aspects:(1)Adhere to the correct development guiding ideology and establish a new development concept: we must adhere to the guidance of socialist Marxist political economy ideology and theory with Chinese characteristics,Guided by the five major development concepts;(2)Accelerate the construction of the development environment of the producer service industry and expand the agglomeration effect: increase the support for the producer service industry,build an incubation platform for scientific and technological innovation achievements,and improve various infrastructures and services.,break down regional barriers,and coordinate the overall layout of the producer service industry in the ChengduChongqing economic circle;(3)Develop the producer service industry according to local conditions and promote balanced regional development: Chengdu and Chongqing,two dual-core cities,should strengthen information transmission,computer services and Software industry and other high-end productive service industries will develop in a cluster.Other cities in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle can vigorously develop productive service industries with low capital and technological content,such as transportation,warehousing,and postal services,to promote their diversification in the agglomeration area.develop.All cities should formulate their own appropriate development strategies to achieve complementary advantages and strengthen the industrial division of producer services.
