Agriculture is the backbone of Morocco’s socioeconomic development.The importance of the agricultural sector cannot be over emphasized as agriculture does not only serve the purpose of meeting a country’s food needs but also serves as a source of revenue.The paper therefore examined the impact of agricultural exports on economic growth in Morocco from 1990-2021 applied Ordinary Least Square(OLS)measurement method proposed by Stock once Watson(1993)and Autoregressive-Distributed Lag(ARDL).The findings indicate the existence of a significant relationship between Agricultural exports and economic growth in Morocco.Moreover,and as expected,the rest of the variables included in the analysis have displayed the anticipated signs.The results show that tomatoes export has positive effect while olive oil and citrus fruits exports have a negative effect on economic growth.Based on the findings,the study recommends appropriate development policy an agricultural product that will consistently increase agricultural exports on the increase in income generation that leads to inclusive growth.
