In recent years,as China’s development has entered a new stage,the economy and society are generally facing downward pressure,and the financial industry has also undergone earth-shaking changes.From the perspective of banks,the traditional corporate business on which banks rely on is very competitive and the profit margin is relatively low.At the same time,with the development of Internet finance and the acceleration of financial marketization,the era that high profits can be obtained only through simple deposit and loan business and intermediary business has passed.On the contrary,the retail business of commercial banks has low risk,less affected by the economic environment and has broad development space.Therefore,major banks hope to obtain new growth momentum in the retail track through the transformation of retail business.At present,both traditional state-owned banks and joint-stock banks have taken retail business as the direction of transformation.Based on this,this thesis selects a typical Ping An Bank as the object,hoping to get some experience of retail transformation.Ping An Bank is a joint-stock bank that began the transformation of retail business in2016,but it is also the bank with the fastest development of retail transformation.Relying on the group advantages of Ping An Group and the network advantages of Ping An insurance,together with the tactical measures of transformation,Ping An Bank has become a dark horse in the transformation of retail business in the banking industry.In just four or five years,Ping An Bank has far exceeded its peers in the proportion of retail business revenue and retail business profit,and has become the bank with the fastest growth in retail business.Based on this,this thesis analyzes the transformation effect of Ping An Bank in the form of case analysis and combined with the research methods such as balanced scorecard,questionnaire survey,analytic hierarchy process and comparative method under the strategic map.Through the analysis of this study,the following experiences are obtained:(1)the development of retail business can significantly reduce asset risk;(2)paying attention to core products can drive the rapid growth of performance;(3)paying attention to innovation can improve the competitiveness of retail business;(4)reasonable internal control can maintain the healthy development of the enterprise;(5)reasonable salary incentive can promote the rapid development of the enterprise.At the same time,This thesis also puts forward the following suggestions for Ping An Bank:(1)reasonable management of operating costs;(2)paying attention to the service quality of employees;(3)paying special attention to employee vocational training;(4)reasonably reserving highly educated talents.It is hoped to provide reference for the retail business transformation of Ping An Bank and other banks.
