Company Z,the research case selected for this paper,is large in the resource recycling market.The company’s foreign sources are mainly from Japan,Europe and the United States,and its domestic channels are mainly second-hand materials within the system,and it strives to build a domestic recycling system for waste materials;the main products sold are copper scrap,iron scrap,aluminium scrap,stainless steel scrap and plastic scrap,etc.,and it gradually develops further processing products,and its sales channels are based on the special industries in Taizhou and the surrounding areas.Under the background of the new era,the business situation and future prospects of Company Z are what many people want to know.The company is also working to upgrade the added value of renewable resources products and extend the product chain to create a high quality eco-friendly,green and low-carbon demonstration industry.As a company in the renewable resources industry,the previous financial analysis can no longer meet the management needs of the current stage,and cannot provide effective evaluation and analysis data for the sustainable development and maximisation of benefits of the company’s operation.This paper uses the Harvard analytical framework as the basis for conducting a comprehensive financial analysis of Company Z.It examines Company Z’s financial issues and is expected to reach constructive comments and conclusions on current operating results and future development.The research is based on the past financial analysis of Company Z.The Harvard analysis framework approach is proposed,and strategic,cultural,accounting,financial and outlook analyses are carried out in conjunction with the current industry situation.The study found that based on traditional financial analysis,Company Z was unable to anticipate future growth trends and the financial analysis was not targeted.With the application of the Harvard analysis framework,Company Z’s financial analysis has a clear focus and is able to identify objectives and set future financial goals for Company Z based on the company’s development strategy.The paper also compares the current financial analysis of Company Z with the analysis conducted by the Harvard Analytical Framework,and lists the advantages of the Harvard Analytical Framework.Finally,the paper details the safeguards for the implementation of financial analysis under the Harvard analysis framework in Company Z in terms of ideological safeguards,institutional and procedural safeguards,technical and hardware safeguards and human resources safeguards.
