The Research On Sino-kazakh Financial Cooperation Under The Background Of The Initiative "Belt And Road"

Nowadays,the continuous development of China’s “Belt and Road”initiative is causing the economic,cultural,diplomatic and other cooperative relations between China and countries that along the “Belt and Road” has become closer and closer.Especially,the cooperation with Central Asian countries,these countries are extremely important for China’s Silk Road and as transportation hubs.Moreover,under the concept of “One Belt,One Road”,this has strengthened cooperation with Central Asian countries that has significant practical significance for building a community with a shared future for mankind.More importantly,Kazakhstan,a landlocked country in Asia,and has a great diplomatic relation with China.So,the cooperation in economic between Kazakhstan and China may become increasingly close in the future.This study focuses on the financial activities between these two countries.It aims that in-depth research is conducting on the incongruity of financial sector between both countries in the context of the “One Road,One Belt”,and to put forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions.This paper summarizes the research through literature review on financial activities between Kazakhstan and China.Next,the author carries out a quantitative analysis on various aspects that relates to financial activities between both countries.Also,it concludes that there are few barriers in this topic.Other than that,this research also pay attention on the current situation of financial perspective between the two countries.For instance,it mainly including the history of economical cooperation,investment and financing,banking cooperation and,changeable cooperation of financial institutions of Kazakhstan and China etc.The researcher shares the economic and financial relationships based on the content in this paper.Based on the statistical data of Kazakhstan and China,this study evaluates the financial activities between both countries,and analyze the intensive and extensive profit margins by applying the trade export profit margin index from Hummels and Klenow 2005 year.Then,it evaluates China’s direct investment in Kazakhstan from2013 to 2020;the investment efficiency,such as,the changes in technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency,and scale efficiency.Lastly,a cluster analysis is performed on five countries in Central Asia to demonstrate the market attractiveness of Kazakhstan.According to the research results,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions from the perspectives of financial cooperation,financial institutions and relevant government departments.
