| Since the CSRC proposed in 2015 that a single natural person can open an account in multiple securities companies,the implementation of this policy has directly led to the continuous acceleration and decline of the channel commission rate of securities companies.By the end of 2017,the average commission rate of the industry was 0.036%,while by the end of 2021,it was only 0.0243%.Corresponding to the shrinking Commission is the sharp reduction in the income of securities companies.Therefore,the mode of traditional economic business as the core source of income generation is far from meeting the development needs of securities companies.It is imperative for the industry to expand and explore wealth management business in the future.Combined with the actual situation of SH securities’ wealth management business,this research is carried out with the ideas of raising problems,analyzing problems and solving problems,and has carried out a detailed exposition and Discussion on the development of the company’s wealth management business.This study first describes the background of the topic,research content and research status at home and abroad,introduces the basic theories related to the development of wealth management business,including modern portfolio theory,life cycle theory,Merrill Lynch Investment clock theory,etc.,and on this basis provides a basis and reference demonstration for the development of SH securities’ wealth management business.Secondly,on the basis of describing the development of SH securities’ wealth management business,it is found that the company has three problems in the development of wealth management business: first,the classification of customers is rough;Second,the average sales rate of financial products is low;Third,the customer acquisition channel is too dependent on commercial banks,and the reasons for the three problems are analyzed at the same time.Then,through SWOT analysis,it reveals the internal strengths and weaknesses,external opportunities and threats of SH securities’ wealth management business,and constructs the analysis matrix to draw the analysis conclusion.Finally,in view of the problems raised,this paper puts forward the development countermeasures of wealth management business from three directions:improving customer classification and classification services,increasing the sales revenue of financial products and broadening the exhibition channels of wealth management business;In terms of safeguard measures,it also provides a number of specific suggestions,including strengthening the organizational structure of wealth management business lines,improving the performance appraisal methods of investment consultants,optimizing the talent echelon construction of wealth management business and continuously increasing financial technology investment.This study is discussed in combination with the actual situation of SH securities wealth management business.It is hoped that the countermeasures proposed in this study can improve the company’s operating performance,improve the quality of customer service,further seize market resources,so as to gain an advantage in the competition of the same industry,so as to build a comprehensive securities firm with high-quality wealth management business.At the same time,it is also hoped that on the basis of this study,it can provide reference for other securities companies in the industry to improve their wealth management business and transform from traditional economic business. |
