Total quality management is based on modern science and technology,the whole process of production supervision and control activities.Covers the whole process of quality management and all aspects,attaches importance to the participation of all staff,is a strong control of quality management.For IT enterprises,the application of PDCA cycle in TQM improves the quality and level of IT projects and lays a foundation for the implementation of quality management.Therefore,the introduction and application of PDCA cycle theory is of great significance to IT project quality management.Based on the PDCA cycle theory,this thesis takes the periodic quality improvement of IT projects as the main research objective.Combined with the actual case of the project,5why analysis method is used to analyze the causes of the errors caused by the Dalian BI team in the multiple implementation stages of the design I process.The results show that the project team lacks technical ability,the project demand identification management is chaotic,the project team communication is insufficient,the project risk identification is not in place and so on.Find the right solution to the problem,and promote the solution to the next stage,to avoid repeating the problem.Collect quality data,prepare A3 visual management reports for each stage,analyze and display the existing problems at this stage,and compare with the previous stage to determine whether the problems have been effectively solved.Summarize the successful experience and continuously improve the quality standards.Any problems that are not resolved in this phase are documented and moved to the next PDCA cycle for resolution.Finally,a set of project quality management system from the process,tools,communication and cooperation,assessment,risk control,security and other aspects.Through continuous improvement and flexible adjustment of project quality in the initial,middle and final stages,the Dalian team made fewer problems and improved the quality of the products,and finally realized the successful delivery of the project with high quality and high standard.Through the implementation of the Toyota project,Dalian team changed the traditional management mode,improved the overall project quality management level,provided important reference value for other IT enterprises to continuously improve the project quality exploration,and also has important significance and far-reaching impact on the long-term development of enterprises.
