| SGS Group is an early multinational company that entered the domestic inspection,testing and certification market in China.It has been developing in China for more than 30 years,and the Agriculture and Food Department of SGS Group has always been the largest and most complete food safety testing institution in China.Since 2012,with the national policy support for food safety testing industry,more and more small and medium-sized food safety testing institutions,The testing business of the Agriculture and Food Department of SGS Group will not only face the threat of state assets testing enterprises and foreign testing institutions,but also face the market cutting situation by private testing institutions in China.With the in-depth development of China’s market economy,the trade war began in 2018,the macroeconomic situation downward,and the COVID-19 spreaded in the world infection in 2020,the social from all walks of life increased attention to Chinese food safety,ecological environment,product quality and safety and other major issues gradually,the requirements of food safety testing institutions is more and more high.How to continue to maintain the leading position in the industry,and how to achieve the sustainable development of the group based in China?This puts forward higher and more long-term requirements for the competitive strategy of the testing business of the Agriculture and Food Department of SGS Group.Based on the theory of competitive strategy,this thesis uses the PEST analysis model to analyze the macro environment of the testing business of the Agricultural and Food Department of SGS Group,uses the Porter five-force model to analyze the competitive situation of its industry,summarizes its opportunities and threats in the external environment,and builds the EFE matrix.Analyzes the internal environment,resources and problems faced by the testing business of the Agriculture and Food Department of SGS Group,summarizes its advantages and disadvantages in the internal environment,and constructs the IFE matrix.By analyzing the feasibility of the three types of competitive strategies and using the quantitative analysis and evaluation of QSPM analysis model,the best competitive strategy and differentiated competition strategy suitable for the testing business of SGS Group Agricultural Products and Food Department are obtained.After that,the implementation plan of the differentiated competition strategy of SGS Group Agriculture and Food Department was constructed from the aspects of customer development,finance,internal business process,incentive and training,resource allocation and so on.From the policy guarantee,improve the organizational structure,establish incentive and reward mechanism to build SGS group agricultural food differentiation competition strategy of safeguard measures,and evaluate and from the measure of performance and correct strategy implementation,to ensure that the differentiation competition strategy is effectively implemented,so that SGS group agricultural food testing business to better adapt to the current background,in an invincible position in the industry competition.This thesis can provide reference for other food safety testing institutions to improve the service quality and competitiveness,and promote the healthy,stable and sustainable development of the import and export trade and domestic sales of the food industry. |
